chapter 21: hurtful goodbyes 💔

after that night tahreem decided to back to her country as she wasnt going university bcz they were having Christmas holiday and after that was new year eve. Having her heart broken by seojun , she couldn't breath in there, she just wanted to go away from him...from everyone.Haley begged her not go but she couldn't stay there as all she was thinking what happened and how seojun didn't trust her for once... She just wanted to go away from all this thing. On the next day , Do Hyun came and tried to comfort her as Haley told him everything. He was furious at seojun For hurting her like that. All these months they have become really good friends. He saw how her eyes were red from crying . She was a mess. Haley was mad at tahreem for going but do Hyun made her understand that she needs time and wanted to go to her family. After that Haley couldn't said further but was quite sad , on the other hand seojun came twice to meet her but Haley didn't let him bcz she knew he gonna hurt tahreem more by showing his face. He was kept coming so Haley dragged him to the hallway and said " Why don't you understand that u are hurting by coming like this, she.. She is going back to her country by this evening flight!. U had a choice back then, either tahreem or ur girlfriend but u choose that lying bitch, I have never thought you could be that idiot... U know just bcz of u, she want to leave so badly. She hasn't sleep a wink since that night. I'm not saying that u would have blindly trust her but at least u should have listen to her.... She has that one thing that hurted her most that u didn't trust her.... U didn't listen to her for once. Oppa! She was so happy that u liked her surprise, her gift... Do you even know how did she even bought it ? She was saving up the money for months from her stipend. Just bcz she wanted to give you a valuable present. I offered to help her by lending some money but she said no bcz she knew I wouldn't take the money back and told me " Hale, no I wanted to give him by my own money bcz he's very special to me. "

Seojun was listening her every word while looking down bcz he just couldn't met Haley's eyes knowing she was hurting more, bcz of him, her best friend was going.. Haley didn't noticed she was crying until her tears were wetting her shirt. Wiping her cheeks, she said " Do u know who she took for ur present shopping? No it wasn't me or do hyun, it was Kang and have u seen how he look at her? "

Hearing that, seojun's jaw clenched remembering how much Kang wanted tahreem. He has clearly seen and wasn't glad by the realization. Haley saw his reaction and scoffed at him.

" Yeah.. He like her soo much but still went with her when he clearly knew that she was buying that for U . He even confessed that he liked her but she rejected him... Bcz she has reasons.. One was her religion and sec- second was you! She couldn't get you out of her mind and heart. She wasn't even going to confess that she love you...do u even have a slightest idea how much she was suffering bcz her two most beloved thing were standing against each other? On one side was her religion... U know how much she loves and devoted to her religion and which didn't gave her permission to fall for non Muslim but she could keep her heart in control and fell in love with you knowing that it's wrong according to her religion. So that's how the other side was you....she couldn't let go both so Even when u were dating someone else, she adored you... U were always special to her. she just wanted to be a part of ur life sh- she just wanted stay close to you even as a friend. Now see ! She's the only one who's suffering bloodly stupid naive girl.. I told her! I told her to say yes to Kang but she didn't listen. So now pls don't add to her suffering by coming here. She doesn't need you !. Go! And don't come back!. " Saying that Haley turned back and started to walk to her apartment. Seojun couldn't say anything as he knew that everything was ruined and possibly couldn't go back to normal not just between him and tahreem but also Haley. She was hurting same as him.... Thinking back to all the memories he had with tahreem, with them... How he first met with her at the coffee shop, how they become friends ,every single thing.... He just couldn't stop his tears while walking back to the lift . Stopping at the door , he entered in the lift and pressed the ground floor button. After few minutes he reached at the ground floor and came out of the building. While going to his car, he felt a urge to turn and look back to the building . Suddenly his steps stopped , he thought if he didn't look back he will regret his whole life so he listened his heart and turned to look back at the building. His eyes subconsciously went to look at the specific floor , at the specific apartment's balcony and he gasped when he saw that tahreem was there looking at him with same pained look. One look at her and his tears could stop flowing. She was just silently looking at him like that was the last time she will be looking at him like that. Seojun just wanted to run to her and hide her in his embrace. he wanted to took all her pain away even though he knew he was the one who cause it...

After standing there for a few minutes without breaking a eye contact, he saw that tahreem diverted her attention from his face to his hand and he understood she was lookiing at the watch she gifted him and seeing that, fresh tears came in her eyes like she remembered everything again..seojun slowly brought his hand closer to lips and kiss the watch while looking at her and mouthed ' I'm sorry and I love you'. As if hearing that tahreem gasped, more tears came and with that tears striked face she nodded as no...and went back to the room..

On that day many hearts got broken but tahreem and seojun's heart was not just broke but got crushed by each other!...

Seojun turned back and get in the car. He lost many things.. His friends whom he didn't listen when they tried to explain... His sister like friend Haley.... Tahreem....
