chapter 24: who's he ?

Tahreem's pov :

Phone ringing....

Just why everyone is my sleep's enemy, why can't I sleep on my day off, ugghh!! Who's calling , now?

Taking the phone from bed stand. I looked at it, Haley was calling me. Why she's calling me so early? Thinking that I picked up .

'Hey , u  up sleepy head?

' hi, why are you calling me at this time ? And since when did u start to wake up at 7 am.? ' I asked, being irritated at her intrusive call.

' I'm awake bcz ur brother called me a few minutes ago.  Rehaan has arrived u idiot! U didn't tell me he was coming? 'Hearing that my brain got fresh in seconds, shitt!!! Bhai told me that his flight was going to land in the morning. I forget set an alarm to wake up early in the morning . I even told him that i'll be picking him up from airport. Ya Allah, just how stupid am I? He must be waiting for me there.

' yeahh babe. I forgot to tell you. Actually he planned to come last month but couldn't come bcz the twins were ill and the day before yesterday he called me  to inform me about his arrival. I told you about my boss that idiot is giving me tons of work. So yesterday I slept late and forget about it. Btw what did he says, was he waiting for a long time? '

' don't worry, he said he had just arrived and I know u are suffering under this lunatic boss of urs, so I got you covered. When he called me saying that u aren't picking up his calls, so he called me. I told him u might have slept late and offered to pick him but he refused but after some insisting, he said yes. So now he's with me. His luggage is in my home and we are in a cafe near my building . Come fast, he's waiting. '  she told me and I took a breath of relief. This is the first time bhai has come to Korea. So I was slightly worried for him.

' thank you soo much Hale. I owe you big time and tell bhai I'm coming in 5 . Ok now bye love you and thank you once again. ' saying that I hung up.

U guys might be wondering how bhai had Hale's number. Actually I and Hale's have each other family members number just in case we are out of reach and when I went to Pakistan four years ago, I turned off of my phone so that no body could contact me. I wanted to be alone . So Haley used to call bhai to know my whereabouts and that's how they have each other's number and are good friends.

After 5 minutes I was ready to go. I locked up my apartment, went down through the elevator. Already booked an Uber. Now waitin for it while standing just outside the building and in 5 minutes it was here I got in the car. It took 20 minutes to reached there. In excitement , I hurriedly got off the car and went towards the cafe. They were on 2nd floor. Climbing up the flight of stairs. I came there and Hale was facing me while my brother's back was towards me. Idk what happened but I ran there while the tears came in my eyes, stopping just before their table. Haley looked at me and told my brother to turn. He instantly turned and looked at me. He stood up and hugged me tightly. I hugged him back and more tears come, not seeing your brothers for years can make you emotional and my case was special he wasn't just my brother, my father, my first best friend . He was who believed in me when no one else did. He was the first one to break the hug and wiped my tears.

" what happened, bubble? Why are you crying like a child, huh?" He said while wiping my whole face as it has become a lil red bcz of crying.

" Bhai I missed you sooo much . Sorry for not coming to pic- " I side hugged and said but he cut  me off in middle and said" Shhh.. I know, Haley told me how hard u are working. I can understand. That's why I didn't called you after one call. Now sit here , I know u wouldn't have eaten anything at home just come here fast. " He said and made me sit beside him. All this time haley was looking at us with admiring look. We were mostly talking in Urdu but haley had learnt some of it so she understood some of it.
