I should a have thought twice before agreeing to go with Lloyd. Oh, its just a dragon. What could possibly go wrong with that. Well almost falling ever few seconds got in the way of me not regretting my life choices. 

Lloyd, who in front of me, tried to keep me on and not laugh every time I scrambled to get back on. "You know you can just grab on to me, right?" He had to turn to his side to keep me up right after I almost fall again. "I would rather just be on solid ground." It was nice of him to offer me a ride. But he also really does not know the words slow down. 

He flew fast, to the point the everyone is at least a mile or ten behind us. We all know we shouldn't get caught, so he was near the ground. But the means that there were some many turns every few seconds. Especially in the forest.

He stopped the dragon and landed soon after I said that. "We have a little while to go still. Get in front of me." His instructions got me. I got a little confused for moment. "Okay, now wha- Ahhh." 

Lloyd didn't give a warning before we were off the ground and dodging trees by swerving left and right. Faster than before. I now know why he wanted me in front of him. He wrapped an arm around my waist. His other hand still on the rein. He laughed a little at my surprised state. Jerk.

"You're insane!" I yelled as we barely dodged another tree. Only moving right when it was about to hit us. "And?" Lloyd was a lot closer to my head than I expected. His voice was in my ear. But he was pressed against my backside so what should I expect. 

He put his chin on my shoulder after we got out of the forest for a little bit. We were flying over a lake. The reflection of the gold was beautiful. The dragon was already glowing lowly but it the water just added to the effect. The stars in the added in out of this world feeling a felt rush over me. The wind in my face and the smell of nature. Everything just felt right. That in this moment nothing back could ever happen. It was like the night welcomed me in.

Lloyd said something and that snapped me out of my trace. "I'm sorry, what did you say?" I didn't want to look away from everything around me. I could feel his body shake against me as he laughed. "I said that we will be stopping soon. We need to wait for the others." 

"Well if someone wasn't try to race we would be so far away." Lloyd gasped dramatically, pretending to be hurt. "How could you. I was trying to beat my own recorded on how fast I get to my dad's place." It was my turn to laugh. "Oh I'm so sorry how does that change anything?" 

"It doesn't." We got to the shore of the lake and landed on the ground. "Oh sweet ground." I sighed as soon as I hit solid ground. "Really, flying isn't that bad." Lloyd followed suit and jumped of the dragon. As soon as he did, it disappeared and we were sent into darkness. "It is when your driving." 

"Ouch. But fair." He shrugged, I think. I could only see him through the moonlight. Despite it only being in the moonlight, we would still see each other. "How did you meet them? My friends, well our. I'm sorry" Lloyd sat down next to me as we waited for the others. I smiled as he started to talk a little fast as he realized his little mistake in words. "You have nothing to be sorry for. I met them when I was looking for a job. No one else would hire me. But Wu did. I'm grateful he did." 

The stars were just shinning up in the sky. This reminded me of how my life used to be before I met the ninja. I would just sit on the hill near my house every night. Wishing on every shooting star that one day, I would have all I could ever dream. A good job or to fix my families scars. Or just have a good family and enough food to feed everyone. Sadly, not really any of them have been completed but I got the best job I could ask for with my inexperience.

We sat in the comfortable silence for a while. "I'm glad Wu hired you" Lloyd finally broke the silence. "I am too." I started to yawn as I spoke. It's been a while seen I have stayed up this late. "You can go to sleep." I tiredly shook my head. My eye lids felt like they were going to close on their own. "No, What if they get here and I'm asleep and you all leave me here?" I don't know why I just said that.
