Hey guys. I'm really sorry I haven't been writing a lot (at all). I got a writers block recently, well kind of. Like I have all these ideas I want to write for this story and others I'm currently working on. But I have NO IDEA how to write it for some reason. I would get to dialog and it's like I forgot how to write. But I'm (hopefully) now out of it.

Now back to what you are really here for, the story.

The plan seemed simple. But in my opinion, very flawed. The plan was to trap Chen on the island by destroying all forms of transportation from the island. This wouldn't be a problem if we weren't on said island. But I kept my worries to myself as I watched people destroy the ships and blimps.

I rolled my eyes, smiling as I watch Jay yell from someone to take down the ferry. "Why don't you join in?" A voice that I immediately recognized sounded for behind me.

"Wouldn't want to steal their fun." I shrug as Lloyd stood beside me, watching everyone go on a power trip. They all seem to be happy despite the looming threat. "Please, your just scarred you would be able to take one out by yourself." He nudges me lightly as I turn to him with an eye brow raised.

"Is that a challenge Greenie?" He only shrugged and smiled at me. "Is it?" I'll take that as a yes and I might as well prove him wrong while I still can. "Sit back and watch." I turned and sprinted to a ship.

I could feel every single shadow following my every step and the weird dark energy starting to flow out of me. I felt alive. As soon as I got close to the ship and jumped onto the deck. With in seconds, drew every single bit of energy coursing through me into a basic lazer that shot down through the ship. It sounded like a lightning strike.

To me, it was beautiful. It wasn't bright. It was the opposite in fact, bringing in and killing all light around it. Maybe it was bad that I thought of it as a work of art, but who cares.

The ship wasn't sinking fast enough in my eyes, so I summoned my whip. Oh I love this thing. After a couple of lashes, the boat started to fall apart. Making me have to run and jump off of it.

Lloyd starring at the sinking boat smugly while Jay looked at it bitterly. Oh boy. "You owe us both a week worth of meals now." Lloyd patted Jay's back as he grumbled and walked away. I watch in confusion as he does. Was there some kind of bet?

"What was that about?" I look over to the blondie to see him already looking at me. "Jay said that you wouldn't sink a ship. I said you would, so we made a bet. The only rule was you couldn't know it was a bet. Now we both get free meals for a week." He smiled so brightly, I could have sworn he was the sun for a moment.

"Sweet." I smile back and go back to watching others. Is Kai right about me opening up to him and only him really? I mean, I don't think with many other people I would have even rose to the challenge.

I sigh and shake my head lightly. Now is not the time for this. I have to focus on the problem at hand. My feelings can wait a week or two.

Lloyd glanced at me with a look of confusion. Wordlessly asking me if I was okay. I gave a small nod as Cole came running down the stairs towards us. "The palace and sleeping quarters are all clear. Still no sign of Chen and Clouse." Cole reported back to Lloyd as Garmadon, Kai, Zane, and Jay walked over to the three of us.

Kai's frown deepened as soon as the words hit his ears. "What about Skylor?" Lloyd frowned and patted his friend on the back. They both shared the same expression. Worry. "She wasn't able to pick her family, but she was able to pick her friends. And since you're her friend, that means so are we. We'll find her."

Kai didn't look extremely convinced but nodded anyway. I walked over to him and gave him a small smile. "I promise, we will find her." I whispered to the hot head as the others continued to talk.
