The plan seemed pretty simple, make sure that Karlof has all the time he needs to complete the jet. Whatever happens after that, I just hope works. I have a bad feeling about Lloyd. I feel like he's in trouble and at the moment I can't do anything about it.

"Calm down." Rosie walked next to me as I worked. She started to work on the food next to me. She glanced up at me and put a hand on my back. "We'll get out. But you need to calmer in order for this to work." Her voice was like a lullaby still. Even without her powers and covered head to toe in dirt, she was still a vision of beauty. 

"I'm trying, trust me. I'm just worried for my friends." I whisper as a guard walks by us. Both of us stared him down as he walked past us. "Last I heard, that wasn't a plural word for you." Rosie froze the second the words came out of her mouth and she turned to face me.

"I don't mean to be rude, I'm just surprised that's all." In a way, she wasn't be wrong. But I think I have most of their trust back now. "Don't sweat it. Earlier today I would have agreed with you." We smiled at each other sadly for a moment.

"If you want, we can be. Friends, I mean." She glanced at me hopefully. I did beat her in a fight but she doesn't seem like a bad person. We were just trying to win during the fight. "Why not." Rosie face melted into a smile. 

'I like this girl.'

'James I swear.'

'What?'

'Both of you, shush.' I internally laugh as I finally hear their voices again. I never thought I would miss having their never ending chatter. Which brings a better question of how can I hear them. I don't have any powers at the moments, so how? But whatever, I'm just happy to have them back. 

"Everything alright?" Rosie glanced at me while pausing her work and putting a hand on mine. Her skin was so soft. I need to know what moisturizer she uses after this is all over. "Nothing you need to worry about gorgeous." 

She blinks for a moment and then nods. "Are you okay?" Did I say something wrong?

'Yes you idiot.'

'JAMES!'

'What? Am I wrong? Like who says that and then doesn't notice? It's also very out of character.'

'I- I have never heard you saying something that smart before.'

'HEY!'

 "I'm just not used to people calling me pretty with out using my powers." She smiled and continued back to her work. "Well, people are blind then or just to scared. You are beautiful and I can say this with a full heart that it's not because of any power." 

Before she can respond, Cole sneaks his way over to us. "Hey, Rosie. Mind if I steal her for a second?" He asked as he watches the guards walk by, keeping his voice low.

"Yeah. I'll be over by the noodle machine when you're done." She glanced over to him without any emotion before smiling at me and leaving. Weird. 

"I meant it you know." Cole focused on to me as soon as we were alone. "I'm sorry." His eyes only should regret. "I treated you poorly and let myself take my anger on you. I broke our friendship over something stupid."

I blink and stare at him for a moment. I could feel myself slowly start to smile again. "I'm sorry too. You were right. I really should have tried to stop you two. I made it worse." Cole smiled back and held his out to me. 

"Friends again?" Words I would never think I couldn't wait to hear. "Absolutely." I take his hand quickly a push him down to hide him as another guard walks by. We both glance over to Karlof, who gives the signal. The plan was about to start.
