I stretched as I walked outside. People were starting to come out from the arena. Lloyd smiled and run over to me as soon as he spotted me. "You did amazing." 

I shrugged, but smiled at him none the less. "It was really just a mental fight." It was really. Even without her power, I can still say that she was cute. But it was really me fighting myself the whole time. Looking back on it, I'm kind of embarrassed by my thoughts. Thank goodness know one could hear them.

"That is still amazing that you were able to do that." He continued to smile at me and nudged me as the others come over to us. "Good job." Kai ruffled my hair as we started to walk. "Hey, don't touch the hair." I could help but laugh a little while push his hair of me.

Kai seemed to have over plans and put me in a head lock to mess with hair more. "Shouldn't have told me that." I push him back and he finally let me go. "I'll keep that in mind." I hit his shoulder and continued to move up the mountain as we were guided too. 

As soon as we reached the half way point a guard came up to us. "Master of Fire. Follow me." I gave Kai a thumbs up as he started to walk away. He looked a bit more than nervous. 

"Will you guys tell me now?" I asked as we continued to walk up the mountain. Jay and Cole shared a look before Garmadon started speaking. "We shouldn't discus it out in the open." I glanced at Lloyd who walked closer to me. 

I leaned over to him to whisper so the others wouldn't hear me. If I know one thing is that Lloyd seems to have a soft spot for me. "Please. I want to know what's at stake." He quickly glanced around to see if anyone was listening in. "If you lose, they take your powers."

'I knew we shouldn't have  come here.'

'See kid, now you made Velvet sad.'

Now I know why Kai doesn't want to fight. "I see." Kai can't lose. What happens to them after? Are they safe? What if Kai loses? I guess I didn't do a very good job of hiding my emotions as Lloyd reached and grabbed my hand. He just held it as we walk. "He'll be fine. He's the best fighter I know." I nodded as we reached a plat form looking over the Volcano. 

Overkill much? There was a bridge over the opening with a jade blade below the bridge stuck in a rock that was coming out of the lava. He'll be fine. He's great with dealing with heat. this will be fine. 

Kai walked out on to the bridge and across from him a man with gray hair walked forward. The man seemed over confident prick from the way he walked and smirked. "Come on Kai! You got this!" I yelled from where I was. 

"Kai, Master of Fire, versus Ash, Master of Smoke. Fight!" Chen yelled from where he was. Please tell me I'm not the only one who finds Ash's name ironic. As soon as the fight start the two men started to run at each other. When Kai tried to land a hit, Ash would turn into literal smoke. Which, honestly, really cool. 

"Come on Kai. You can do it." Lloyd's grip tighten around my hand as mine did. We were both worried for him. I can't bring myself to tear my eyes away from the fight. Ash has landed a couple punches on Kai. But Kai hasn't been able to land anything on Ash. 

He's losing. Anyone who has eyes can see that. And it scares me. "Come on, Kai. Use your power." Lloyd yelled to him. We are in a tournament of elements. Use your powers to prevent them from being taken. "Come on." I can feel my heart going a thousand miles per second. Come Kai, I can't lose another person close to me.

When Kai uses his powers, ash turns into smoke and that sets the bridge on fire. Making the to men fall to the rocks above the lava. Kai, you have to think smart here. You can't hit him, so distract him. 

In the middle of the two is the jade blade. They both jump at it at the same time. Kai sends some fire at him and by reflex, Ash turns into smoke again. But this lets Kai grab the Jade blade making him win. "Yes! Let's go Kai!" I jumped up happy that he didn't lose. I cannot explain for happy this made me. I don't care who is looking. My friend is safe.
