Orchid romance

It's been a year since I have seen anyone. It's not like I haven't tried to reach out. But most of them are busy or don't want to talk to me. But ever since the memorial, I have trained to the bone. Sometimes with Garamadon, mostly with Shadow.

Garamadon was doing other things a lot so he would train me very little, Like maybe once every other month. I need to be stronger. What if something happens and no is there to help. I need to protect myself. 

Shadow had a lot of knowledge on my element. Seeing as they are made out darkness it makes sense. I have come to know a couple things about Shadow. Shadow is multiple personalities or people. Their speech will change with their voice. Their fighting style will change mid fight. Will be caring one moment, ruthless the next. It was confusing at first but I have come to respect every one of them. So far I have only seen about four personalities. All with their own quirks. 

"So what's the plan for today?" I walk out on the tent that I made. We were out in the middle of the forest. Near a lake. 'Fight me.' Shadow a aggressive voice before the others yelled at him.

'James!'

'Calm down.'

'He isn't wrong.'

'ALL OF YOU SHUT UP!' Aggressive Shadow yelled at themself. I rolled my eyes and started to stretch. They were like this a lot. Always disagreeing. I looked up to see a still dark sky. I woke up before sunrise. That in it's self is a miracle. "Shadow, I'm gonna take a walk. Once I came back we can start."

I never really leave room for an argument. I wasn't going to let this be an exception, so I just left. I walked for a while before climbing a tree. Once I found a good branch, I watched the sunrise. It was a beautiful. I never had appreciated the sun and light until I was the sunrise for the first couple mornings. 

This is my life now. Alone with no one but my own power to talk to. It was lonely, but it has it's perks. It's quiet for one and I'm no longer as stressed. I still go and get food from the city. But I now prefer it out here. 

That being said, I miss everyone. I miss talking to Nya. I miss laughing at Jay's bad jokes. I miss teaching with and teasing Kai. I miss having my lunches with Wu. I miss messing around with Cole.  I miss Zane. But unlike the others, I never going to be able to see him again. I miss Lloyd, just being with him. I miss his stupid jokes. 

Everything is so different now. I'm just going to have to deal with it. It's just how it is. I don't know where anyone is and it's to like Cole or Jay want to talk to me. I tried to reach out and find them. 

Apparently, Jay has a show now. I saw it one day when I was heading into the city. Good for him. It seems to be a good fit. 

'(Y/N)! Get your ass back here!' Shadow yelled. Even if they were far way, I could only hear them in my head. Annoyingly, that makes me always in earshot. "Yeah, yeah." I gave the sunrise one last look as I jumped down. I need to focus. Not miss people. 

"Bring it." I raise my hands ready to fight. Shadow, being control by the more aggressive personality, charged at me. Easy for me. I stepped to the side at last moment for they ran into a tree. Shadow got up and charged me again, but this time quicker. I was able to block the attack in time. This Shadow's attacks are a lot stronger than the others. So I can already the feel the bruise forming on my arms. 

I try and redirect his punches instead. I can feel every single shadow around us. Even his. I could try to freeze him. But that would get his attention in a way I don't want. I reached out to them all around me and hand them all whirl around us. That seems to distract him enough for me to put some space in between us. 

"Rule number one," I make a couple daggers of darkness and aim at Shadow. "Never loss sight of your opponent." Those were their words to me for the first month. I threw the daggers. Shadow didn't have time to reach at one hit his thigh. One his shoulder. The last his ankle, near the Achilles tendon, I smiled as the sank into their targets.
