"That was it? That was all you've got?!" I could hear the overlord laughing. We failed because of that stupid snake. "(Y/N)!" I heard them yelling at me. I barely had enough energy to respond. But I have enough still.

"Hey." I looked up and saw a lot of them were concerned and Lloyd was, lets just stick with not happy. "The armor, why isn't it working?" Cole was starting to thrash around, trying to get the web of him. The overlord was the one to answer him because he thinks he has won. "Because your time is over!"

There has to be something we can do, right. There has to be something. 

And that something was jumping from person to person, towards the overlord. Zane was getting closer and closer to the overlord and when he got there he did something I wasn't expecting. None of us were. 

"Let... my...friends... go!"

He was holding on to the golden parts of the overlord. What his he doing? After a few moments we were all let go of to the ground. As soon as my feet touched the ground I collapsed.  I need to get back up. Now.

I could hear someone running to me as I struggled to stand. My legs were shaking but I can stand. I don't know about walking. "Let me help cause we need to go now." It was Lloyd. He put a hand on my back but waited for me to say something. "Let's go then." I nodded to him. Right now, I can't walk properly, much less run. 

He picked me up and started to run over to the man hole closest to us. He set me down so I could climb in. I took a lest glance towards Zane. He was freezing the Spider. I know he won't come out of this alive, so this is my good bye to Zane. 

Once we were in, we waited a minute until ice started to form on the metal cover. Once the ice stopped forming, Kai started to melt the ice as soon as it appeared. After he was done, he moved the cover.

The whole city was covered in snow and ice. You did good Zane. You did better than good. I could feel my eyes start to well up with tears. I looked around to see the guys, everyone on the verge of tears. I can't cry now. 

I walked over to Nya and put a hand on her shoulder. She turned to me and hugged me. No words were spoken, but she needed this. I looked up to see all guys trying and failing not to cry. Kai looked over to me and Nya, and made a hesitant step forward. 

Even in this situation, he still wanted to at like a tough guy. "Come on." I raised one of my arms as an invitation for him. And Kai took it as quickly as he could. None of us said anything but eventually Lloyd joined the hug, then Cole and Jay. I looked over to the two older men. They looked at each other for a brief moment before also joining.

We all need to know we all feel the same grief. But all things must come to an end and we all started to let go. "Thank you." Kai whispered to me as he let go. He still held on to his sister. But He gave me a nodded as I walked back. As I walked away I could feel the tears coming and this time, I can't stop them. 

"Zane, why did it have to be you?" I fell to the ground and started to play around with the snow. After a couple moments, someone sat down with me. Lloyd didn't say anything so I didn't either. But it was nice to have someone with me. 

We just sat there in each others company what felt like hours. It was probably less than that. "Lloyd! (Y/N)! We are heading out. We all need some rest." Garamdon yelled over to us. We looked at each other for a moment before Lloyd stood up and offered me a hand. Which I took. 

When he pulled me up, my knees buckled and made me fall back down. Even though I am slowly gaining energy, it's not all back yet. "Next time I tell you to stay with me. Please stay with me." He offered me a sad smile and a hand again. "I'm sorry. I lost you guys." I grabbed his hand. This time when he pulled me up, he wrapped his arm around my waist so I would have some support.
