We were guided to the a cafeteria like place. The boys got all there food and went to a corner. I tried to follow them but was stopped by Jay.

"Look we all are really happy to see you, but we need to talk about ninja business. You understand right?" He gave me a smile before walking away. Leaving me standing. Well this would be weird if I continue to just stand like a wounded puppy. Honestly, I shouldn't be surprised.

I shook my head and went to go sit down at an empty table. It's weird to see others socializing and being able to talk with ease. Almost anyone who comes up to me I'm going to assume what's to know my weaknesses.

I was about to start eating when Skylor and a man with dark hair walked over to me. "Hey (Y/N), don't mind if we sit with you?" Skylor didn't really wait for me to answer before sitting next to me. "Of course, it's not like anyone else was sitting there."

Skylor raise an eyebrow at me with a deadpan. "No one was sitting here." I smiled and raised my dink to my lips. "Just messing with you."

The man sat across from us. He stared at me confused for a second. "Something wrong?" I asked after putting my drink back down. He looked like he was debating whether or not to tell me. "I don't bite." Unless your Griffin, then any means of hurting him are on the table.

'Kill him next time you see him kid.'

'don't listen to James, please.'

I might. If he can't take no, then I have no choice. He might as well learn now. The man sitting across from me finally decided to talk. "Your thoughts are confusing. I can't read them. It's like a crowded room." Okay, not what I expected I guess.

"What's your name then?" He blinked, still trying to make sense of my thoughts. "It's Neuro." I raise my glass to him. "Nice to meet you, I'm (Y/N)." He smiled to me and nodded. "So can you only read minds?" Skylor asked him.

He shook his head. "No, but I'm not going to revel what I can do just yet."  Smart guy. I huffed out some air as I noticed floating clothes come towards us. "Got an extra seat." Poor guy sounded like he was going to run at any moment. "Sure bud." I smiled to him as he sat next to Neuro. It's the invisible guy.

"I'm Mr.Pale." A sleeve rose into the air. I think he was going for a hand shake. "(Y/N)." I put my hand around the same area and he shook my hand. "Is it okay if I just call you pale?" If he says no that's completely fine. "That's completely fine." He sounded kind of happy.

"I'm Skylor, and this grumpy man is Neuro." Skylor pointed to herself and then Neuro. We carried on the whole night by making jokes. Neuro seemed to space off every now and then. At one point, he looked incredibly disgusted and side eyed someone at another table.

"What is it?" Skylor leaned forward. I followed her lead and Pale did the same. "Griffin. His thoughts are disgusting." Neuro looked like he wanted to jump into a pool of bleach. Honestly, understandable. I would hate to know what he's thinking. "(Y/N), you might to keep an eye on him."

Please no. I groaned and hit my head against the table. "Kill me." Skylor started laughing and patted my back. "What?" Pale asked. "Well Griffin may have a small crush on dear (Y/N) here." Skylor barely paused her laughing long enough to say that. "Small is an understatement." Neuro mumbled, he looked horrified.

I rolled my eyes and shook my head. Griffin can go die in a hole. "Whatever." I need forget that he exist. I don't want his attention, in any shape or form.

After another hour, we all headed to our rooms. Pale and Neuro walked me up to my room. Not that I'm going to complain. But it was a bit strange. "I don't trust Griffin." Neuro said once we finally got to my room. I looked at him confused. "I figured out how to navigate your thoughts." That's comforting.
