I Wonder

Elizabeth was pacing the floor in the cabin, Sarah watching her intently. "You're going to wear the floor out" "she can't win. I won't allow it. We have to think of something and fast". Sarah watched as the girl halted and a devious smile formed on the blondes face, "up for a workout?".

Quinn watched as her daughter doodled over a blank model. "Mum, I make pretty dress like auntie 'cedes." The five year old got up and walked over to the two women, showing off her dress design. "That's beautiful Zi. Can I use this?" Quinn smiled watching her friend and business partner interact with her daughter. "Do you think she's just as artistic?" Quinn mused out loud by accident at first but was thankful when Mercedes reached across and squeezed her thigh in comfort. "I'm sure she's just as amazing Quinn."

Harmony had just finished a successful hike with her friends and was enjoying the rest Jess provided her by giving her a piggy back. "I can't wait to take more of her British pounds later." The girls laughed but were interrupted when Jess stopped and dropped Harmony to her feet. "Erm, Har?" The girls followed her line of sight and all groaned upon seeing their beds placed perfectly on the roof of their bunk, a Great British flag waving from the mast. "Right!"

"She gets this from you yknow?" Puck said as he scrubbed his face in the kitchen sink with his hand and some water. Rachel, Sam and Finn were sat around the breakfast bar laughing at the man. "Why did you fall for it? Again?" "Because when my niece asks for help with homework then I help! God forbid I was a good uncle!" they all continued to laugh except Rachel who sat taking in the moment, wondering if her other daughter also enjoyed pranks just as much.

Harmony and her friends were thankful the day had been long and that Elizabeth and her bunk had crashed out that evening as they poured syrup over the sleeping girls. The blonde girl had managed to cover her hands in the stuff in the process and was certain it would take her ages to clean it off, god knows what these girls covered head to foot were going to do. "Shhhh, let's go." Jess whispered and with a final look Harmony smiled and followed the other girls back to their own quarters and to a blissful nights sleep.

Harmony felt like she had blinked when she was woken by screams from the cabin across from her own. "Cmon!" Jess shouted and Harmony jumped out of bed excitedly following the girl, staring as they watched bodies flailing about through the windows. "This has got to be the best prank, ever!"

"Suprise inspection!" Sues voice bellowed through the megaphone and Harmony felt her heart sink, standing watching as the woman approached the screaming cabin. "Miss Sylvester!" Harmony shouted running across and jumping in her way, "miss, start with ours, please? We done a really good job." "Move out of my way sprog." Sue brushed past the small blonde who watched on in horror as she opened the door to the cabin. The door triggered a thread and with a loud pang a bucket of slime fell onto the camp leaders head. Harmony stood frozen her eyes wide and mouth agape.

"Right! Berry's! To the isolation cabin! Now!"
The woman screamed across the camp and Harmony could have sworn even the trees cowered.

Quinn smiled into the kiss and let out a little moan as her back hit the stage wall. "Hey, calm down, you still have to go back out there". Rachel didn't stop, kissing her wife's neck. "Rachel, I get it but hold up. Don't start what can't be finished, yeah?" The blonde pushed the brunette away who groaned, Quinn finding it hard to look into her lust filled eyes. "Quinn, you can't come back stage to my show, tell me my balls work and then expect me to go back out there!" "Go do your job star and show me later how happy you are".

Both blondes sat on beds opposite each other, glaring at one another. "This is your fault""This is your fault" both girls said at once and then allowed the silence to once again engulf them. Elizabeth moved first, she leant across her bed and reached into her duffel digging out a sketchbook before settling back against the headboard. She flipped through idly and smiled at her own art, enjoying the progress she was making. "What's that?" "Why?" Harmony huffed and got up, standing over the other blonde and peering down at the book. "They're good. I like drawing too. Wanna see my sketchbook?" Elizabeth sighed and accepted she should perhaps make conversation with the girl, after all they only had each other now.

"Okay." Harmony smiled and walked swiftly to her own duffel, returning with said book. She handed it to Elizabeth and the girl handed her, her own. They sat quietly flicking through the pages they had different styles but were equally as talented. "Who taught you?" Harmony asked as she looked at the drawing of a very regal looking woman in a wedding dress, "my aunt and mum. My mums more a photographer but she draws on occasion. What about you?" "Myself, my Momma is an artist in other ways. She always says I'm like my other mom, my hair and my appetite. Wanna see her?"

Harmony took the book back from the girl and flipped to the last page, pulling out a torn photo of a young brunette sat on the edge of a stage, her arm was clearly wrapped around whoever was in the other half and Elizabeth felt her eyes widen. She turned to the last page in her own book and took out something, holding it to her chest.

"Harmony, I don't want you to freak out but, well, look." Elizabeth took the photo from close to her chest and placed it next to the one in Harmony's now shaking hand. Both girls took in the photo, one that had been incomplete for years and brunette with an arm wrapped around a blonde, both smiling at each other beautifully. "Is that your mom?" "Yes. Is that yours?" "Yes. Does this mean we're, like sisters?" Elizabeth sighed and smiled at the blonde, "Harmony, it means we're twins".

"This may be our last photo in this auditorium yknow?" Quinn smiled and rested her head on Rachel's shoulder. "I can't wait for this next adventure with you Quinn", Rachel hesitated only slightly in her movement before jumping down from the stage and taking her phone off the desk opposite them. She smiled at the photo on the display, the way her eyes locked onto Quinn's, their smiles. She knew she could never, would never love someone like this again. The ring box in her jacket pocket suddenly felt heavier, almost reminding the singer why they were there. The brunette put her phone back on the desk and smiled at the blonde who was watching her intently, "what is it star?".

Rachel approached Quinn, slotting herself between the blondes legs and placing their foreheads together. "Quinn Fabray, I love you my darling. I will love you, every moment of every day of forever. I want our future, our success, our children. Will you, will you marry me?"

The girls spent days discussing their mothers and talking about their similar likes and dislikes.
"How comes mum stopped singing? The band was a hit". Harmony looked down at her hands and smiled, "she did it for me. She wanted me to grow up with her around, apparently her and Uncle Sam always spoke about retiring and having a vineyard and so they just sped the dream up. She still performs every now and then but not very often. Why did Mom stay in London?"

Elizabeth smiled at her sister "Auntie Mercedes said the market was better there, I don't really know what any of it means but I know that we all love London so I think that had a big factor too".
