Rachel rubbed the back of her neck as she stood at the end of the pool, looking through the faces for a familiar blonde. She was about to turn to the sound of the voice she searched for when her eyes locked onto a more familiar blonde on the other end of the pool, she could hear Kitty calling for her but her legs walked in the direction of another never looking away. Quinn was walking away and Rachel decided she couldn't let that happen, she was about to call out when a waitress sped by her, losing her balance Rachel came crashing down in the pool realising just how close she had gotten to the edge.

The brunette stood up straight in the shallow end and used the back of her hand to scoop the water out of her eyes trying not to frown at Quinn as she began to giggle making no effort to hide it. "Nice day for a swim?" "Hello Quinn". The brunette accepted the blondes outstretched hand as she was pulled out of the pool and wrung the water from her T-shirt. "How are you?" Quinn giggled nervously this time, finding it hard to tear her eyes away from the blue ones boring into her soul. "I'm good, how are you star?" Rachel clenched her jaw and refused to let the crimson enter her cheeks at the nickname, "what are you doing here Quinn?" The blonde was about to speak up when Harmony popped up to her left, "hi mom." Rachel looked down at her daughter and smiled "hey" "hey mum" "hey...wait". Rachel took in what had just occurred as she now stood staring at both her daughters stood either side of their mother.

"Both of you? Here?" Rachel allowed her slacked jaw to turn into a toothy smile as she took in the scene before her, "Elizabeth?" Rachel looked between them both and the young blonde took a step forward, being swept into a hug by her mother. "My darling girl how I've missed you." Elizabeth laughed which made Rachel pull back and stare at her curiously, "I've kinda been with you this whole time." "They switched on us Rae, at camp". Rachel looked between the girls still kneeling, she gestured for Harmony to come over and held her daughter just as tight as the last.

"There you are! Rach why did you jump into the pool?" Rachel pulled away from Harmony, looking behind Quinn and at Kitty who stood with her hands on her hips eyebrows furrowed at the soaking wet brunette. Rachel stood up and grinned, "hey Kitty, this is Quinn as you might remember and these are our daughters." Quinn and the girls turned to face the woman who stood staring at the four in disbelief.

"I don't want them in the media." Rachel sighed and walked to her pregnant wife who was sat comfortably on the sofa. "There are laws now my darling, they won't be. No one even knows you're pregnant and they won't. I promise." Rachel knelt in front of her wife, taking both her hands in her own and placing a gentle kiss on each wrist. "They're going to." Rachel shook her head, "if the Kardashian's can hide a pregnancy, we certainly can."

Kitty was trying not to scream at the thought of there being not one but two of those little monsters. She never wanted children of her own and for good reason. "Look Kitty there's a lot to explain but basically they switched on us at camp and yeah, I have two daughters". Quinn bit her bottom look at the distressed face the younger blonde was displaying. "Really sorry Kitty, I never wanted anyone to know about them and as time went on and Rachel's band wound down people just stopped, snooping I guess." "And you left the country". Rachel couldn't help adding which in turn received her a glare as three blonde women turned to face her.

"Let me get this straight. You managed to hide twins from the media?" Rachel laughed and rubbed her neck nervously, "well no, they knew about Harmony but after everything Quinn got left alone, lying low and well yeah, there are laws against photographing children and so no one ever put anything together." Kitty just continued to stare at them, Quinn became uncomfortable rather quickly and decided it best to excuse herself and her daughters. "Look, we should be getting something to eat, leave you guys to it, cmon girls." Quinn wrapped an arm around both girls and turned them, moving out from between the brunette and blonde and leading the young girls off.

"Does it not upset you? The world not knowing about Elizabeth?" Mercedes asked whilst herself and Quinn stood in an empty studio they were viewing. "No. I never wanted that life for either of them. I can't blame her, someone uploaded a photo. I can't believe how big she is now though." "Who mumma?" Quinn smiled welcoming at the newcomer, a three year old Elizabeth running to her mum and aunt from a back room. "You my darling girl. You're so big now." Quinn said as she scooped up her daughter and held her close to her in an attempt to convey love to both her children at once.

"Kitty?!" Quinn smirked into her drink at Mercedes reaction to who Rachel was evidently marrying. They were sat around a small table in the hotel lounge discussing the days adventures. "That cannot be right? I mean, she's a kid!" Quinn stopped herself from spluttering out her drink in laughter and decided instead to place the glass down on the table. "Shes not even nice." Elizabeth spoke up and Quinn looked over to her daughter disapprovingly, "nevertheless your mother loves her and that, is that." "I wouldn't call it love." Quinn looked over at the familiar voice joining the table, "Sam?" "Hey Quinn, how's life?". Quinn looked away from the blonde and to her friend who was sat staring at the man across from them. "Mind if I join you ladies?" "You're about ten years too late Samuel" the blonde man pulled over a stool and propped himself between the twins, looking between the women. "Hey mercy. Long time." The woman sat proud staring at him, they had had a fling years ago but Sam had always prioritised the band and his dream of a vineyard over her dream, it had been over quicker than it started but both still felt a familiar pang of pain when seeing each other.

"Can you two do this later? I'm sorry but, what do you mean by not calling it love?" Sam drew his eyes away from the brown ones he was staring into and smiled at Quinn, a cheeky smile he had clearly kept from high school. "Rach has money, Rach gets lonely. I say they're fulfilling each other's requirements." Quinn frowned, she didn't like the idea of either of those things, Rachel being used was something she had worried about after all the woman was really such a softy at heart but the idea of Rachel being lonely hurt too, that's how Quinn had left her, lonely.

"How's it going then Mercy? I see you're a superstar in the wedding industry now." Mercedes tried not to react to the name being used and the way it rolled off the blonde man's tongue. "Well yknow what they say, always the dress maker, never the wearer." Sam chuckled and didn't hide the look of relief on his face, the idea of the woman being singe made him feel happy, as if the twins had not gone to all this effort just for their mothers but also in some twist of fate it was for him too.

"Care to share?" Rachel asked as she walked across the stage, taking in the size of the venue they were playing. "It's nothing." Pucks laugh echoed and Finn shot him a look to be quiet. "Cmon, it's clear. Mercedes broke up with him." "She did not break up with me!" Finn walked to the singer and slapped a hand on his shoulder in an attempt to comfort the man, "oh yeah, sorry to be dumped you have to be together right?" Sam turned and stared at Puck angrily, "why cant you just be decent? For once?" Rachel asked as she walked past Puck and shoved him slightly, she took Sam into a one arm hug and smiled sadly for him. "It'll all work out dude. Everything that's meant to be will be."

"Why are you moping at the bar? Shouldn't you be having sex on a balcony or something?" Rachel huffed into her drink as Finn and Puck took a seat either side of her. "Quinn's here. With Elizabeth, well, we had Elizabeth, she had Harmony." "No way!!" Rachel looked to Finn and rolled her eyes, "I saw Sam, I know you guys know." "Listen it's not that we didn't want to share." Rachel waved Pucks defence off "I know, it was for the girls. Just don't keep secrets with my daughters again please?" Both men nodded and ordered their own drinks.

"Where's Kitty?" Finn spoke first after the few minutes of comfortable silence had past between the friends. "Off making the final arrangements and making sure the venue can do everything just as she likes. Not really my thing so she might as well have fun with it".

Rachel lay breathless next to her wife. "I'm so happy we opted for changing time between the ceremony and the reception." Quinn said as she turned and placed a series of kisses to a bare shoulder. "Tell me about it. This has definitely been the highlight of the day." Quinn furrowed her eyebrows and looked at the brunette incredulously, "you're suggesting our actual marriage is beaten out by sex?" Rachel smirked up at the ceiling before she used her strength to flip herself up and on top of the blonde who was giggling at her from below. "I'm suggesting us, is better than a moment."
