Rachel stood triumphantly over the tent she had managed to put up by herself, Quinn had attempted to assist but the blonde was evidently much better at collecting the firewood. "You did great star!" The blonde said as she appeared from the trees, "thank you my darling. I know it's not massive but it's only for a night" Quinn dropped the wood at Rachel's feet and grinned in her own success. "Thank you for bringing me out for the meteor shower" "ah well, you only dropped like a thousand hints Q."

Quinn stood on the porch, smirking into the cup of coffee as she watched Kitty try and fail for the second time at swinging her backpack into the truck. "Mum. Me and Harm don't feel to good." Quinn turned and raised an eyebrow at her daughters, "that's crazy because you know the best thing for illness?" The girls shook their heads in unison, eyeing their mother cautiously "fresh air. Now go pack". Harmony threw her arms up in defeat and sulked back inside, Elizabeth not far behind muttering about how she knew the plan wouldn't work.

"That was definitely Harmony's idea." Puck walked up to the blonde, joining her leaning against the railing and watching the young blonde huff and puff, throwing herself into the passenger seat and honking the horn. "Elizabeth can be sneaky too. Always reminded me of Rach when she tried bunking off school with some imaginary illness." Puck chuckled and bumped his shoulder with the blonde "well you did always say you liked the rule breaker side of the girl." Quinn shook a smile from her face, she was about to defend herself, say that no longer applied and that her attraction for the woman had long since disappeared but her mouth turned dry when the brunette appeared from the side of the house.

Rachel had decided loose sweat pants and a sports bar would be perfect for this trip, Puck smirked noticing the shaky breath the blonde released and seeing where her eye-line was focused. "She kept in good shape eh?" Quinn nodded and swallowed a few times, trying her hardest to gain some form of moisture back into her mouth. "She certainly has."

Quinn allowed her eyes to rake over glistening abs as Rachel strutted towards her. They had been dating, secretly for a month and the blonde felt that the brunette was doing everything within her power to frustrate her in front of their friends. Quinn wasn't ashamed of her relationship, Rachel knew this, she just needed time to make sure they could work. "Jesus Q! Eye fuck much." Quinn turned to look at Santana who was lounging next to her, "what? I wasn't. I was just day dreaming." "Yeah about riding Berry within an inch of her life." Quinn just groaned, the girl wasn't wrong but she didn't need to know that.

"She can't help it San. No one really can. I mean, look at me, I'm fit." Quinn rolled her eyes, standing up and walking past Rachel, her hand brushing the brunettes. Rachel fought off grabbing it and instead smirked, turning and following Quinn into the house. Rachel turned the corner into the hallway and was slightly winded by a body slamming her own into the wall, Rachel groaned as her neck was bitten and she felt hands speedily undoing the knot in her swim trunks.

"Q. Everyone is just...." She was cut short as nails raked down her tightening abs and she panted, closing her eyes and enjoying the way her body was being brought to life by the blondes hand slipping into her trunks. "Don't tease me and think I'm going to put up with it." Quinn hissed into Rachel's ear before nipping it, the brunette sighed as Quinn finally cupped her, then bucked into the hand taking Quinn's wrist in an attempt to increase the friction.

"Wow! Jesus gays!" Quinn jumped away from Rachel and the brunette stood staring, her hormones still running wild. "Hey! Puckerman you owe me ten bucks!" Santana shouted whilst laughing and leaving the two alone again, Rachel stared at Quinn, now slightly calmer she took in the blonde. She expected Quinn to look sad, scared anything but the smirk she was wearing whilst biting her bottom lip, Rachel could have protested, she really should have as the blonde approached and got on her knees in front of her "well, guess that's done."

Rachel huffed and stopped to look at Kitty who was sat on a rock, "girls hold up." The twins groaned out in front, Harmony walking back to see what the hold up was. "Mom. We will never make it to the site at this rate." Rachel ran her hand across her face, "go and help her, maybe see if you can carry some of her things please Harmony." The blonde rolled her eyes, Rachel ignoring the look just pushed her daughter lightly on the back in encouragement for her to help Kitty.

"Take off your backpack Kitty, I'll help you." "Sure you will." The woman mumbled and passed her bag to the girl, Kitty was rubbing her neck and stretching the muscles there not paying any attention to Harmony. "Can I have my water please?" "Sure." Harmony pulled the bottle from the backpack holder, she was about to hand it over when she spotted a small lizard sat on a rock next to her and decided what better a way to introduce Kitty to the full outside experience than place it on her water bottle. Harmony was glad she had done so when the bottle was snatched by the woman and she let out a satisfied laugh when Kitty began to scream and threw her bottle. Harmony's smile faulted when the bottle hit her mother who had turned from her conversation with Elizabeth when she heard Kitty's scream.

"Ow! What is it!" Rachel shouted as she rubbed her arm where the bottle had hit. "A dragon! This! This thing put a dragon on my water bottle!" Harmony quirked an eyebrow at Kitty before turning and tilting her head at her mother. "Thing is a bit much Kit. Look it's the outside, animals wander. Let's just get on with this hike yeah?" Kitty stomped her feet into the ground much like a child before jumping up and snatching her bag from Harmony, glaring at the girl.

The sun was beginning to set, Quinn had settled into a chair in the lounge once receiving a text from Rachel that they had made it to the site well and were all set up, settling down and waiting on dinner.
She had picked out a book from Rachel's bookcase, she had hoped to settle with something new but the title had jumped out at her when she had seen it nestled between others. "Aren't you a bit old for that Q?", Quinn looked up from the pages and at Santana "Rach used to read it to them, when they were a bump and then one night when Elizabeth wouldn't settle I found them a couple of hours later asleep on the sofa, this book laying beside them. I've read it to Elizabeth countless amount of times since then."

"It's Harmony's favourite too. Rachel does funny voices and it still makes the girl laugh." Finn plonked himself on the sofa next to Quinn, brushing the blondes legs onto the floor. "I'm happy we both stuck to raising them how we agreed. Harmony is perfect. I'm just disappointed I missed so much time."

"Really Rachel? That's it? The band done?" Rachel nodded her head, "it was the agreement, I've had my time and now Harmony needs me." The five year old in question came running to her mother at the mention of her name, she climbed up the sofa and sat on her mother's lap smiling up at her uncles who were stood around them. "We've had a good run. We can still do events and festivals on occasion if you like but I have to stick to my word." "Mumma, you sing for me?" Rachel smiled down at her daughter and then back to her friends, "I only sing for you my girl."

Camping Site, Napa

Harmony poked her sleeping sister's side, when she gained no response she done it again just slightly harder and again until the sleeping girl stirred and opened a single eye to her sister. "Yes Harm?" Elizabeth groaned at the smirk on her sister's lips, "wanna help me do something funny?" "How funny?" "Funny enough for Kitty to be gone?" Elizabeth let a smile creep across her lips and sat up, listening to her sister's plan.

The girls crept across the camp site and towards Kitty's tent, the blonde having pitched her own to make a point to the girls and her fiancée that she could do it alone. The tent unzipped louder than Harmony had wanted, "it's fine, she took those pills." Harmony lit up at her sister's reminder as they both reached in and grabbed at the inflatable mattress, both pulling with as much force as they could. "This is going to be epic!"

Rachel woke to a scream, she shot up and ripped her way out of the zipper of the tent, her parental instincts in overdrive. "Girls?!" The screaming continued followed by a loud splash, looking out at the lake Rachel saw a floating object. "Girls?!" Rachel called again, both then peeking their heads out from the tent they had shared, "yes mom?" "What's up mum?" Rachel sighed in relief and then squinted at her daughter's suspicious smiles. "What have you..." "done?! What have they done?!" Kitty approached Rachel, poking the women's chest for her attention and in an effort to wipe the smile that was forming on the brunettes face at the sight of a soaked Kitty. "Those monsters, they could have killed me!" "That's a bit dramatic." Rachel answered back and cringed when Kitty glared at her even harsher than before, "this is it Rach! Me! Or them!"
