Vineyard, Napa

"We will see each other soon Elizabeth." The blonde nodded, crying into her mother's shoulder. "I know, sorry mum I'm just going to miss you." Rachel held her daughters head close to her squeezing her waist with her other arm, she didn't want the girl to leave again but she had no choice, it was the agreement her and Quinn had made. "I'm going to miss you too squish." Quinn stood watching the exchange holding Harmony's hand as tightly as she could without hurting the girl.

Rachel let Elizabeth go and the girl walked to her mother, hugging her sister tightly. "Cmon girls, you'll be in London together in a few weeks, it's gonna be awesome!" Puck was attempting to make the situation lighter but everyone stood around watching knew the task was impossible. "We have to go." Quinn said, it was directed at everyone but her eyes never left Rachel's who nodded in agreement. "Harm, come here kiddo." Harmony broke away from her sister, Quinn leant down to place a kiss on her head and watched her daughter walk to her mother.

Quinn turned and lead Elizabeth to the car waiting for them, Santana and Brittany following, Mercedes having opted to spend a couple more days with Sam stayed on the porch with the rest and waved as they all got into the car. Rachel stood watching as the car reversed and turned before pulling off and driving into the trees out of sight. "How is it possible to experience the same loss twice in one life time?" Rachel said out loud to those all stood around her, her daughter hugging into her waist tightly. "Then don't. Why don't you put on your big girl pants and chase after what you want? Change the ending." Everyone looked at Mercedes, Rachel scrunching her eyebrows and letting her mouth fall open. "You mean..." "uh huh. You didn't then but you can now."

"I thought she'd come." Quinn stood in the airport terminal, looking at the gate and trying to blank out the last boarding call. "Cmon Quinn, if it's meant to be it wouldn't leave so easily."

Rachel sipped the whiskey in her glass, as she continued to stare at the phone on the table. She watched as the flights tickets were taken down and the minute ticked over to flying time, letting a tear roll down her cheek.

London

The weather was as grey as the moods of the car as they pulled up to the townhouse. "Are you sure you'll be okay?" Quinn nodded and patted Brittany's hand which rested on her thigh. "I'm sure. Plus, me and this one have some catching up to do." Quinn grabbed at her daughter's cheek in attempt to get the girl to smile, she instead just sighed and opened the car door. "Just call if you need anything." Quinn nodded at her friends before pulling herself from the car and closing the door, their bags had been brought to the sidewalk by the driver both blondes walked solemnly back to the house. "Home sweet home eh? Bet you missed your bed?" Quinn was trying to make light as she unlocked the door, "yeah, I suppose." Quinn just sighed and shut the door to the empty home behind them both, she heard her daughter choke back a sob as she walked down the hallway towards Quinn's studio.

"Mum. You left the light on this whole time." Elizabeth shouted walking into the room and stopping when she saw her sister sat with the chair turned facing her. "Harmony!" Elizabeth ran to her sister and pulled her up and into a hug. "Elizabeth why are you shou.... Harmony?!" Quinn ran into the room, kneeling and pulling both her daughters into her. "Why are you here? How?" "We didn't want to lose you again." Quinn pulled back and looked to Rachel who was appearing from behind the white backdrop. "Rae" Quinn let go of her daughters and stood to face the woman who approached her slowly and cautiously as if she were a wild animal of some kind.

"I let you go then, all those years ago and I am so sorry and have regretted it everyday since. I have never stopped loving you Quinn and I never will. I want us back." "And I'm supposed to say sure. Why not? Let's do this. Then you pull me into your arms and you kiss me and my knees go weak and the butterflies return and...." Rachel pulled the blonde to her, cupped her cheek relishing in the warm skin, running her thumb to collect a tear before she pulled the blondes waist in and finally connected their lips after all those years.

Quinn felt light headed as her lips moved against Rachel's, it was as if they had never stopped all those years ago. Quinn moaned gently as Rachel bit her bottom lip, the kiss turning salty from the tears of both women, both ignoring how their daughters clapped and cheered for them.

Napa (1 year later)

"This is beautiful" Quinn said as she was spun around by Rachel under the canopy of lights and flowers that had been set up to cover the dance floor. "Not as beautiful as you my darling." "Sweet talker." Rachel wiggled her eyebrows at Quinn, dipping her before pulling her back in tightly. "I'm surprised it took them so long. We got married again after four weeks." Quinn shook her head into her wife's shoulder, playing absentmindedly with the brown locks that fell down her back. "We also just went down to the registry office, this" Quinn nodded around at the decorations "took planning".

Both women looked over at the bride and groom dancing in the centre of the room, only having eyes for one another as if the world only inhabited them. "At least this way cedes was easy to convince to move, although we may have to think about getting a bigger place." Rachel pulled back from her wife, scrunching her eyes and cocking an eyebrow. "We have a vineyard, I think we're good on space." "Well then an extension, I don't think the girls will wanna share their rooms with their brother." Rachel jumped pushed her wife even further away, her eyes watering, "you did it again stud."
