This guy is seriously impressive, he took college courses in high school like me but most students don't do that unless they have strict parents or a dream. Which is why I ask because I'd like to know more about him.
"Why did you take college courses in high school?" I try to sound normal but being around him makes me very nervous, in a good way. His voice though is something I wanna hear all day long which is why I listen very closely to his answer.
"I took college courses in high school because I wanted to be ahead in school and my parents always encouraged me too, not like they told me to or anything."
"Wow, that's very impressive, most people don't think that far ahead in life. So good for you"
"Thank you."
"Of course." Sadly as I say that I see the classroom down open and students are already flooding in so I turn to him and even though I could talk to him for hours I have to end it here.
"Well this is me, thanks for walking with me. I hope you have a good class and maybe I'll see you around."
"Yeah no problem. I hope to see you around Ms. Snow."
"Bye Mr. Allen" I wave back to him as I enter the classroom but I can still feel his gaze on me. Luckily the teacher closes the door after me, breaking the gaze and the feeling that I don't wanna feel towards someone I just met.
As soon as I find a seat, which is next to a goth-like girl who is definitely high and could care less about her surroundings. Which is perfect for me so I can focus on the teacher and the class.
But I for some reason I can't because all I'm thinking about is Joe. I'm thinking about his eyes and how intense they can stare and how he's never even touched me but I felt his touch all over my body with his eyes. I'm thinking about his smile and how bright it is, lighting up the darkness that seems to follow me everywhere. I'm thinking about why he stayed in the class when he clearly had no clue what was happening. I really hope to get an answer on that soon, just like I hope to see him again soon even if I shouldn't.
