"Y/N don't tell me-" Her whole body had frozen and her shoulders were tensed. Her eyes had widened and slowly her face became the same as disappointment and disapproval, as if she were looking down at someone inferior.

"What?" You asked.

"You were with a guy and you didn't tell me?" Her face resembled that of betrayal and anger, but it didn't worry or scare you anymore.

"Why should I tell you if I'm with a guy or not? I'm an adult, not a child." I rolled my eyes and turned away from her heading in the direction of my bedroom door. But she stopped me with a tug on my shoulder.

"Don't walk away from me. Tell me Y/N, what did you get up to before?"

What have I gotten myself into?

7 AM and no alarm clock. It's the most cliche beginning of a day. Who cares if I'm late? Nothing matters anymore anyway.

I pushed away the useless excuse of an alarm clock got up out of bed and walked into my bathroom to get prepared for the day once again.

The same routine is repeated every single day, it hasn't gotten boring yet surprisingly and I don't think it will.

A simple routine of waking up in the morning, taking a shower, brushing my teeth, getting changed, and then having breakfast. After that, I leave for work and then it's the most simple day of work I've ever experienced.

But that's normal.

I don't expect it to be fun in any way possible so I don't get my hopes up.

Last night I got scolded by my sister for coming home late and also keeping secrets from her. Although it isn't any of her business I still got in trouble for it.
What am I, a child?

I don't care what she says. It's my life and I can do what I want to.

With that being said, I finished my morning routine and headed out of my bedroom while locking the door because I didn't need any unwanted visitors paroling around the room.

As I arrived in the living room, I saw my younger brother devouring yet another bowl of cereal along with his phone to keep him distracted.
Seven thirty in the morning and he's already awake and thriving just as usual.

It seems he's taken a break from rotting in his room this early in the morning and leaving his cave to communicate.

"Oh, you're awake?" He said as he noticed my presence in the doorway.

"I indeed am. I should be asking the same for you. What are you doing up this early?" I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow.

Something about this wasn't adding up.

"Oh, nothing much. I just have to wake up early for my date today." A bright smile appeared on his face and I lightly chuckled to myself as if it was some sort of joke.

"Yeah right. Anyway, I'm heading off to work so don't get yourself in stupid situations, okay?" I walked closer and ruffled his hair with a small smile and he slowly and reluctantly nodded his head as he paused stuffing another spoonful of cereal in his mouth.

"Y/N..." He stopped me in my tracks just as I was about to open the front door and leave.

I sighed to myself and turned around, waiting for him to speak so I could leave already.
"What is up with you? Why are you being nice for once?"
