It's Hurting Again

chapter 7

*Beep*

*Beep*

*Beep*

I rolled over shutting off my alarm and crawled out of bed. I shuffle across the hall into the bathroom and hop in the shower washing my hair and body. When I'm done I walk over to the counter and plug in my crimper.

I walk back across the hall into my bedroom and go towards my closet grabbing a black skater skirt and a white and pink floral crop top with a pair of white wedges.

I walk back into the bathroom and crimp my hair. After that I put on some light foundation and do a nude smokey eye with some simple mascara and eyeliner, once I'm satisfied with the way I look i walk back into my room and grab my phone checking my notifications, their all from twitter and instagram so I just put it in my backpack and skip down the stairs.

"Morning Chipmunk." Brady greets me when I walk into the kitchen,

"Hey Brady! What do you want for breakfast?" I ask him happily.

"How does blueberry pancakes sound?"

"That's fine with me." I reply grabbing out the pancake batter and starting to make them.

Once I've made about five pancakes I give four of them to Brady and take one for myself. I sat down and started eating until I felt my phone vibrating in my backpack. I pulled it out to see a text from Jack.

From jack: hey beautiful you almost ready

To Jack: yea I'm eating breakfast so just let me know when you get here.

From Jack: kk

I put my phone away and get up to put my dishes in the sink. I skip up the stairs to the bathroom to brush my teeth. Once I'm done brushing my teeth and I'm happy with the way my makeup looks I run back downstairs just in time to see Jack pulling into our driveway.

"Bye Brady." I yell before opening the door.

"Um where do you think you're going?" He asked me.

"I'm riding with Jack to school he's here now, so I'll see you at school." I yell while running out the door.

*at school*

"Hey Madison." I yell as I see her walking down the hall.

"Oh hey Maci." She repied, walking over to me.

"How was your day yesterday?" I ask her.

"Pretty boring. How bout you?"

"Really good I went four wheeling with my brothers and one of their friends." I reply in excitement while Kiley and Chase walk up to me. "Hey I'll talk to you later Madi I'm gonna go find Jack before I have to go to class." I told her before walking the other way.

"Maci wait!" Chase called after me.

I see Jack up at his locker and start to walk faster trying to avoid having to talk to either Kiley or Chase. "Maci please just let us explain." Kiley yelled.

"Hey Jack." I smiled walking up to him.

"Hey there cutie." He smiled wraping his arms around my shoulders.

"Maci?" I heard Chase behind me.

"Chase just go away I don't want anything to do with either you or Kiley anymore just leave me alone!" I yelled in his face.

"I don't care I just need to explain." He yelled back grabbing my wrist.

"Hey asshole she said she didn't wanna talk to you!" Jack yelled pushing him off me.

"Oh yea and who the hell are you!" Chase fired back.

Jack looked down at me not knowing what to say. "He's my boyfriend so just leave me alone." I said.

"Whatever." Chase scoffed walking away.

"Your boyfriend huh?" Jack asked with a smirk.

"Well not yet no, but thats the only way he'd leave." I replied looking up at him.

"Well what would you say if I were to ask you out?"

"I don't know that depends if you're asking me out or not?" I smirked.

"Well then in that case...will you be my girlfriend?" He asked, with a hopeful smile.

"Um...no." I smirked walking away.

"No you don't." Jack laughed pulling me back.

I smiled up at him before standing on my tippy toes pulling his face towards mine. As soon as our lips touched I felt fireworks exploding inside. "So is that a yes?" He asked pulling away.

"Yes that's a yes dipstick." I laughed, grabbing his hand and walking towards my first class, which may I add was with Chase and kiley 'god kill me now'

"I'll see you at lunch." I told Jack, kissing his cheek before walking into the room and sitting in my seat.

*lunch*

I was looking around for Jack but I couldn't find him so I just went to sit next to Brady and all his friends.

"Hey pooh." Jesse smiled as I sat down.

"Hey Jesse have you seen Jack he said he'd meet me at lunch but I can't find him?"

"Uh yea he had to go get something really quick he should be back in a few minutes." He reassured me.

A few minutes later I felt someone wrap there arms around my waist. "How much do you love me?" I heard Jack ask.

"Well that depends where you were?"

"I may or may not have went to McDonald's and bought you a big mac." He smiled.

"Well in that case i love you more than I love Brady." I smirked looking over at Brady.

I took the big mac out of the bag and just looked at it. "Are you gonna eat it or just look at it like its some hot model?" One of Brady's friends asked me laughing.

"Shut up dipshit I'ma eat it eventually I'm just gonna admire it for a little bit first!" I laugh

The bell rang telling us that lunch was over. I got up and threw away my garbage. I walked back over to Jack and all the guys. "I'll see you later." Jack said wraping his arms around my waist.

"Should I meet you at your truck or your locker?"

"Don't worry about it I'll meet you at your locker after school." He reassured me.

I kissed him before walking off to my next class. The rest of the day was boring and seemed to drag on forever.
