It's Hurting Again

Chapter 33

*one month later*

I woke up to a really bad pain in my right side and i didn't know what it was, all I knew what that it hurt, really frickin bad. "MOM!" I yelled over and over again until she finally opened my door.

"Jesus christ Maci what? It's two o'clock in th morning." She groaned.

"My side it hurts really bad it's like on fire and feels like someones stabbing me." I whispered, tears starting to fall from my eyes.

"Do you want me to bring you to the hospital?" She asks, concern in her eyes.

"Yea. Can you go get Brady please?" I asked trying not to cry. She nodded her head and quickly went to wake up Brady.

"Come on Chipmunk let's get you dresses and then we can go. Moms starting the car right now so hurry." Brady smiled down at me before walking over to my dresser and grabbing a pair of yoga pants and throwing them at me before walking back across the hall to his room and grabbing a sweater.

"Thanks B." I smiled before carefully getting dressed. "Hey B?"

"Yea Chip?"

"Could you mabye you know carry me?" I asked with puppy dog eyes.

"Sure but we gotta go." He laughed picking me up like a baby and carrying me to the car and gently placing me in the back seat. As soon as we were all in the car my mom flew to the hospital, well not literally flew but she went pretty frickin fast. It usually takes us about a half hour to get to the hospital but today it only took us a little over fifteen minutes.

Brady carefully picked me up and hurridly walked into the ER. "Hello how may I help you?" A lady at the front desk asked as we came into view.

"My sister. I don't really know what's wrong with her but she woke up screaming in pain and said her side was on fire." Brady told her.

"Ok go sit right over there and we'll have a doctor out as soon as possible."

*Three hours later*

"Ok ir apears that your appendix ruptored and we're gonna have to operate as soon as possible." The doctor informed us.

"How soon is as soon as possible?" My mom asked the doctor.

"Well we would like to do the operation first thing tomorrow morning if that's alright with you."

"Yea that's fine." I told him before pulling out my phone to text Taylor.

To Tay the Bea: heyy if ur awake can u call me ft or call me pwease :(

Not even two minutes later Taylor's face popped up on my screen with a facetime notification. I quickly answered it and as soon as he saw me worry spilled across his face.

"Maci Paige Lockwood what's wrong?" I knew he was really worried cause he NEVER calls me by my full name like NEVER.

"Well I woke up at like one in the morning and my side was in a lot of pain so my mom brought me to the hospital a-"

"Wait you're in the fucking hospital? I'll be there as soon as I can I'm booking a flight right now." He yelled cutting me off while pacing his room and packing a bag.

"No Tay I'm fine I promise. My appendix ruptured and after surgery tomorrow I'll be fine." I reassured him.

"Surgery? You need fucking surgery? I don't care what you say I'm on my way my flight leaves in an hour."

"Taylor no. Don't put your life on hold for me." I told him trying to talk him out of coming.

"You are my life Maci." He told me looking right at me. I was shocked. I could even put my words together, I just sat there and stared at him. "So I'm coming. I'll be there in a couple hours." He told me.

"Ok." I smiled. "Bye Tay."

"Bye hot sauce!" He smirked and winked at me before hanging up. After I hung up I decided to open a group chat with the guys to tell them what was goin on.

Maci: heyy guys don't freak out ok...I need u guys to promise me u wont flip a tit or anythin

Tay the Bea: i already no u guys r behind the loop

Maci: please dont say anythin Tay

Tay the Bea: id never dream of it ill see u soon hot sauce ;)

Maci: bye Taylor.

Tay the Bea: wow i feel the love but c ya

Maci: ok today at like one in the morning i woke up in a lot of pain so my momma brought me to the hospital and it turns out my appendix ruptured and i gotta have surgery in da mornin.

Nashly: IM BOOKING A FLIGHT RIGHT NOW!!!!!

Maci: u promised u wouldnt freak out

Nashly: im not freaking out im just letting u know im booking a flight to come and c u no matter what u say ur not gonna change my mind ima be there when u wake up wether u like it or not!

Cammy: yup i bookin it right now girlll ill c ya soon ;)

MoMo: girl u cray cray if ya think i aint already on ma way....c u when ya wake up :))))

A-Ron: my flights already booked im leavin in an hour and a half! C u soon boo:)

Shawn: ur more important than my show so im bookin the first flight I find :DDD stay strong little lady ill be there soon

Cartah: well shit im comin too

Jacob: im there 2 already got mine, shawn, and daniels flight!!!

Nate: ill be there with sam and the jacks we already booked all our flights. Ill be there soon princess I promise just stay positive and ill be there before u know it.

Maci: thanks guys its nice to know that u all care and im sorry but ima go to bed surgerys at 6....love ya guys.

They all replied with 'love ya too' or 'we'll always be here for ya' and 'i'll c ya tomorow!' I smiled down at my phone before shutting it off before slolwly falling asleep with the biggest smile on my face.
