It's Hurting Again

*4 moths later*

•Maci's POV•

*Beep*

*Beep*

My alarm screams ripping me awake. I rolled over on my side and shut it off before slipping out of bed and shuffling to the bathroom. I hop in the shower and wash my hair, face, and body before getting out.

I walk back into my room to look for an outfit. I don't really feel like getting dressed up for school today so I just grab a pair of black leggings and a white victoria secret sweater. I walk back into the bathroom and just decide to throw my hair into a messy bun. I put on minimul makeup and then bounce down the stairs.

Brady is stitting in his usual spot at the counter. I don't really feel like making breakfast today so I just grab two bowls out of the cabnit and pour some milk and ceral into them and hand one to Brady.

"Have you heard from Jack?" I asked him. I ask him this just about every morning but his answer is always no. I haven't talked to or heard anything about Jack in over three months and I really didn't know what was going on.

"Maci you've asked me that same question every morning for three months now and my answer still hasn't changed." He replied with a sad look in his eyes.

'Ok so you're probably wondering what's going on so I guess I'll fill you in on the past four months of my life. So my birthday is in 3 days and then me and Madi leave for California where Magcon is gonna be in only two weeks and I couldn't be happier about that, but ever since I told Jack about it he hasn't talked to me. He started getting really distant at first and then one day he just disappeared and nobody has heard from him since.'

"Mace? Are you ok?" Brady asked me, his eyes full of concern.

"Yea I'm fine, he's the one who pushed me away and won't talk to anyone, that's not my problem," I paused giving him a reassuring smile, "I'm gonna get a ride with Madi today and then we're gonna go shopping after school for our trip."

"Ok," he paused reaching in his pocket, "there's $2,000 on this card, it was supposed to be only for your trip, but you're only gonna be there for a little over a week so you can use it now for shopping but please don't use anymore than $500."

"Kk, thanks Brady. I'll see you later. Love you bye." I told him walking out the door.

I skipped down the front steps and slid into the passenger seat of Madi's brand new chevy comero. "Hey, Mads you excited?"

"Hell yea!" She smiled turning on the radio.

All I want by Daniel Skye and Cameron Dallas came on. My favorite song ever! "Omg Madi can you believe in only two weeks we're gonna meet him!" I yelled turning the radio up.

"All I want is you, you, used to come to my house after school but your boyfriend no he never knew I'm tryin to get it in right now baby come through, baby come through, and you ain't gotta stress, you know I'm the best I know what to do, I know what to do, when I'm in the place all these pretty girls tryna take your place and nowadays these girls be choosin but you know that i really don't want them and you come runnin cause you know I'm tryna hit it, I'm tryna hit it, I give you the buisness baby girl I'll admit it all i want is you." I rapped along to all of Cameron's part.

"Wow Maci you're obsessed!" Madi laughed at me.

"Shut up he's totally amazing." I laughed as we pulled into the school parking lot.

*skip school*

*at the mall*

We hopped out of the car with our purses. "You ready to get your shop on?" Madi asked me with a serious look on her face.

"Well duh!" I laugh pulling her into the mall.

First we went into pink and got a bunch of cute stuff. Then we went to pac sun where I got a bunch of cute high waisted shorts and crop tops. We spent the next two hours running in and out of stores, trying things on and laughing at each other. I ended up buying a bunch of high waisted shorts, crop tops, a few pairs of sweatpants, three really cute bathing suits, some skinny jeans, some skater skirts, a few dresses, shoes, and a shit ton more stuff.

"Ok I'm hungry lets go get food." Madi pouted.

"Madi you're always hungry." I laughed, grabbing her hand and dragging her to the nearest caribou.

We walk into caribou and order our drinks. When we're handed our drinks we walk around the food court to the closest McDonald's. "Um..Maci don't turn around." Madi tells me, panic in her voice as she takes my wrist and pulles me away.

But me being me I turn around and see Jack sitting with some random girl flirting and laughing. "Jack?" I asked walkimg up to them.

"Maci!" He panics, "it's not what it looks like I promise. I can explain."

"No Jack. I really don't even care anymore I haven't seen you or even talked to you in over 3 months. I did nothing wrong, you just left. You never answered my calls, you never texted me back. And now the first time I see you again you're with some random slut. No offence." I turn to the girl and smile, she just smiles back so i turn back to Jack. "So now, you know what I dont give a shit for all I care you can go to hell. I never wanna see you again! And dont ever try to talk to me again either, you're a lieng, cheating, bastard." And with that I turned around and left.
