BOOM!!! Izuku dodged the small bomb thrown at him by Shinso and was knocked to the ground. Izuku gets back on his feet. He punches Shinso in the gut making him collapse onto the ground in a coughing fit.
Izuku: when will you stop doing all this extra work on these gadgets Shinso the only way you'll compete at the sports festival is by training hand to hand-to-hand scenarios.
Shinso: I'm sorry Im not a freak like you were you can learn anything with ease I can't just learn to fight well in two weeks.
Izuku: whatever I still think you should be working on hand to hand. It's getting late anyway my uncle is going to be meeting me soon I gotta go.
Shinso: see ya later then.
Izuku and Shinso would go home after training. Izuku gets home and locks the door then closes the blinds. Someone's been watching him he can tell he saw the lens of a camera's reflection in his window. It's not like he's surprised he practically asked for it after dealing with All Might besides he just leaves out the apartment side door anyway and besides everything but the suit is with Shinso. It's been a week since the USJ the school gave everyone two weeks to rest after the USJ disaster and prepare for the sports festival. Izuku wasn't even gonna enter before he learned you can move to different programs if you put on enough of a performance to impress a teacher so he decided to enter the sports festival with hopes to make the support course. He decided to try getting into the support course to improve his suit it was in poor condition after the USJ besides he was due for an upgrade anyway but anyway it was time to finish his project. A knock would be heard at Izuku's door. Izuku would open the door and see his uncle in front of him carrying a large box.
Izuku: you were able to find it.
Aizawa: yea but I'd know what you need all this shit from the support courses room for.
Izuku: Thank you I can't wait to see the look on their faces when they see this.
Aizawa: well I hope it works out for you I gotta go though see ya tomorrow.
Izuku: Yea see ya I gotta get to work.
Two weeks later
Present Mic: WELCOME TO THIS YEARS ANNUAL SPORTS FESTIVAL! Your here with your announcers Me Present Mic and Eraserhead.
Aizawa: we do this every year and you somehow get louder every time.
Aizawa would say clutching his ears.
Present Mic: Anyway let's go over this year's competitors
On the ground
Izuku would walk into the stadium carrying a heavy metal object wrapped in cloth and join the crowd of students listening to Midnight's speech.
Announcers box
Present Mic: SPEAKING OF WHICH! There's Izuku Midorya while he definitely isn't a favorite he is the first quirkless person to ever compete in the sports festival which one could argue is an accomplishment in itself with the prejudice quirkless people face.
Aizawa: You can say that again but personally I think he is coming into this competition with his sights set on much more than just competing.
Present Mic: definitely coming into this competition with something to prove.
On the ground
Midnight would finish her speech and the first-year representative Bakugo would walk onto the stage and deliver his speech.
Bakugo: I'm gonna win.
Bakugo would proclaim arrogantly then get off the stage. The crowd of students would erupt into booing and yelling enraged by Bakugo's cocky proclamation.
Announcers box
Present Mic: WHAT A BOLD STATEMENT FROM THE FIRST YEAR! I know you are his homeroom teacher Aizawa what do you think about his statement
Aizawa: while I don't appreciate his attitude, to say the least, I can definitely see why he would be so arrogant he broke All Mights point record on the physical part of the entrance exam. Definitely has the potential to be a good hero if he can ever get that attitude in check.
Back on the ground
Izuku would find Shinso in the crowd before the start of the race event.
Shinso: I thought we were focusing on hand-to-hand?
Shinso would ask pointing towards the mysterious cloth-covered object he is lugging around.
Izuku: Do as I say not as I do besides im trying to get into the support course.
Shinso: whatever hypocrite.
Izuku would line up for the start of the race with the cloth-covered object now tied around his back. The race would start and Izuku would take notice of a red and white-haired boy slamming his foot on the ground so he would jump avoiding the sheet of ice meant to freeze his feet. He would then slide on top of the ice till he reached the end of the ice. Izuku would then just run till he ran into the robots although Bakugo not realizing he was helping everyone out behind him destroyed all the robots before Izuku got there. He would continue sprinting towards the finish.
Announcers booth
Present Mic: well despite his quirk your student Bakugo doesn't seem to be the brightest.
Aizawa: I think that may be an understatement
On the ground
Izuku would be running at full speed and despite the gorge up ahead, he would jump from platform to platform with ease.
Announcers box
Present Mic: wow you don't see that every day even from people with a quirk
Aizawa: definitely not I don't even know many pros who can do that!? What a feat of athleticism.
Time skip end of Calvary battle (no im not gonna write it im lazy)
Izuku would finish the race in 15th place and would fly under the radar in the Calvary battle and start heading towards the inside of the stadium for lunch. Where he would bump into Bakugo.
Bakugo: Watch where you're going or I'll... oh it's just Deku
Izuku: wow warmer welcome than usual.
Bakugo: Why did a loser like you enter the sports festival I'm surprised you even got past the race.
Izuku: well you made it a lot easier for me your so dumb you cleared out the only obstacle I couldn't clear.
Bakugo: whatever that just means I'll be able to tear you apart with my own hands.
Bakugo would say with a arrogant smile on his face.
Izuku: good luck with that but I don't think I'll be the one being torn apart this time around.
Announcer box
Present Mic: WELL WE FINALLY REACHED OUR MAIN EVENT. THE FIRST ROUND OF BATTLES!
Meanwhile
Izuku would walk out from the tunnels and take his place on the stage across from his opponent Izumi Midorya.
Izumi: Izuku just forfeit I don't want to hurt you.
Izuku: You never had a problem with it before.
Izumi: I know and im sorry but you're gonna get hurt you can't win.
Izuku: I will win Izumi don't think I don't have a few tricks up my sleeve.
Izuku would take the cloth cover of his back and and six metal appendages mirroring spider legs would fold out from his back.
