Chapter Eight: Felicity’s Choice
Clark is dead. Clark is dead. Clark is dead. Those were the words running through Felicity’s mind as she was dragged home by her parents and siblings. Clark’s blood stained her face, hands, and clothes in her attempt to bring him back to life. Clark is dead.
Those words continued to run through her mind as her parents tried to talk to her, trying to calm her down. It didn’t work, though.
Could it have only been yesterday that Clark promised to run away with her? Was it only yesterday that they were in the creek, kissing and goofing around?
Clark is dead.
Who would kill Clark? Sweet, wonderful Clark. Handsome, witty Clark. The insanely blonde Clark whose hair would never stay down. The Clark who patched up her bleeding knee in the same place Clark had bled to death. The same place she had fallen in love in Clark is the same place where her heart broke. Her heart was left there, and Clark was waiting for her to retrieve it and bring back to him. There was only one way she could do that, though.
She snuck out late that night to the place where Clark’s blood still stained the ground. She was in the dress she had worn when she found him.
She took the large kitchen knife and positioned it in front of her heart.
Felicity plunged it into her heart, and she collapsed on the ground.
Her blood was now forever mingled with Clark’s on that red piece of forest floor.

Again, sorry about this, not only for the sadness but the length. I just needed to get the point across.
This is the last death for a while! I promise!
