The same man in uniform as before handed George his keys and walked me around the car to opened the door for me. It was the first time George sat in a car before me due to the employee helping me inside this time. He was already seated and fastened when I tried to climb inside as elegantly as possible and taking extreme precautions to not move my dress. I could tell that he was watching me the entire time, but I did not say anything. The man wished us a good night and George started the car while clearing his throat.

"I am unsure if I am disappointed or relieved to not have seen these stockings again." He said. My body reacted to his words and the tone of his voice immediately.

"Mmh, why would you be relieved?"

"Well crashing tonight would make a really bad impression on Toto and Susie right?" he said while we got on the main road. "But on the other hand I don't know if I ever would get them out of my mind if I saw them again."

"And now you can?"

"No I don't think so." He exhaled. "I know you are not doing it on purpose - as I know plenty of girls would do. It's just minor details on you that drive me crazy."

"Tell me more." I said with amusement in my voice. I liked when he gave me so much affirmation with words. And it boosted my confidence. Being around girls like Sarah and Elsa and also Naomi I never felt sexy, but this conversation just now did not only boost my bodies' reaction to George but als my confidence.

"Hmm, well I have told you about the thing you did with your hair on the terrace. When you wore the open back? Actually similar fit as yesterday. So yesterday then just your top was enough to make me go mad. Oh, and our dance at the Gala. I mean you know what you did there but still. Anyway, I am looking forward to another elevator ride with you." He quickly glanced at me and his gaze went to my lips for a millisecond before he returned his eyes to the street again.

"Me too." I said while looking at him. My head was resting onto the seat and I just took in his side profile. "I really enjoy dating you. I appreciate your effort and I am once again sorry for how I reacted yesterday. I totally see what you mean with affirmation." I paused and thought about it. "And probably because you are so open pursuing me and saying things like just now, I have no doubt of you liking me that way, you know?"

"Though I don't get why you think this would be an issue. Most girls are worried it's just that what men want, aren't they?"

"Mmh probably true. But I mean I know I am likeable. Though, I mean - have you seen my friends? I mean come on. I don't know how many guys have talked to me just to get with Sarah. Or Elsa." I sighted. I don't know why I just said this. And if it was the truth. I mean it probably was. I just spoke without thinking and regretted it immediately. It sounded jealous and bitter though it was not meant this way. I thought how I could put it better.

"I am pretty sure they talk to you first because you are their first choice. And probably you send them away unintentionally and that's the circle. But I mean - that's my luck, isn't it?" He looked at me quickly again smiling. "I know at least three guys in the garage that I am certain are interested in you."

"Yeah but they don't know my friends."

"Oh, El." He shook his head.

"What?" I said with a bit of a laugh.

"I saw your friend group entering at that party and the only one I saw was you. I could have not even told you the hair color or dresses of anyone of the others." He said. "You should be way more confident about your beauty."

I did not respond and just knew my cheeks were red as the back lights of this car. I looked outside the window and recognized a building from our trip to the restaurant. We probably were half way back at our hotel. I got sad as I could drive with George for hours. Just the two of us in a car.
