"Catapults!" Stoick bellowed.

The Vikings fired their catapults, the boulders striking the Red Death in the face, but it didn't do much to kill it. It just succeeded in making it angry. The Red Death stepped on their catapults, and bit into others, causing the Vikings to flee.

"Head to the ships!" One Viking yelled.

"No, no!" Stoick countered.

The Red Death opened its giant mouth and spewed fire at their ships, setting them ablaze, and stranding them there.

"Smart that one." Gobber commented.

"I was a fool." Stoick admitted. "Lead the men to the far side of the island."

"I think I'll stay, just in case you're thinking of doing something crazy." Gobber said.

"I can buy them a few minutes if I give that thing something to hunt."

Stoick went to go distract the giant beast, when Gobber grabbed his wrist.

"Then I can double that time."

Stoick smiled at Gobber then turned to the dragon. "Here!"

"Oh, no. Here!"

Stoick grabbed one of the stakes and threw it at the dragon, hitting it in the side of the head. The Red Death lowered its head, looking between Stoick and Gobber, as they shouted at it to distract it.

The beast raised its head, and opened its mouth to blast them, when it was suddenly blasted in the side of the head.

Four dragons flew down, all of them having riders on them. Ruffnut and Tuffnut were on the Zippleback, Fishlegs was on the Gronckle, Snoutlout was on the Monstrous Nightmare, and Hiccup, Astro and (Y/n) were on the Nadder.

Stoick looked up in confusion, mouthing the words, 'what the..?'

"Look at us, we're on dragons!" Tuffnut announced. "We're on dragons, all of us."

"Every bit the boar-headed stubborn Viking you ever were." Gobber commented to Stoick.

Stoick couldn't help but nod in agreement.

"Fishlegs, break it down." Hiccup ordered.

"Okay, heavily armored skull and tail made for bashing and crushing. Steer clear of both. Small eyes, large nostrils, relies on hearing and smell." Fishlegs deduced.

"Okay, lout, legs, hang in its blind spot, make some noise, keep it confused. Ruff, Tuff, find out if it has a shot limit. Make it mad." Hiccup told them.

"That's my specialty." Ruffnut said with pride.

"What? Since when? Everyone knows I'm more annoying. See?" Tuffnut flipped upside down on the Zippleback head and made an annoying noise.

"Just do what I told you." Hiccup insisted. "I'll be back as soon as I can."

Hiccup steered the Nadder downwards towards the boats to rescue Toothless, while the rest of them carried out his orders.
