Waking up the next morning was strange. Rhea and Jay's limbs were tangled as they lay on the floor, too lazy the night prior to climb into bed. Elijah was sleeping on the couch, a strand of drool hanging from his mouth and landing on one of Talia's decorative pillows (which she would not be happy about). Ben and Carlos shared Rhea's bed, which Carlos built a pillow barrier between them. The other three girls were a pile of intertwined limbs on Talia's bed. Dude was also lying on the floor, at the bottom of Rhea's bed.

Only Jay and Rhea were awake, although they were both acting as if they were asleep, since Rhea was closely cuddled up into Jay's chest, and neither of them wanted the moment to end. Although, that serenity didn't last long. "Wake up!" She heard Evie squeal, as she shook the two girls awake, which she didn't really need to do as trying to free herself caused them to stir.

"What?" Talia muttered, "We were up until three in the morning, am I seriously not allowed a lie in?" She clearly hadn't seen the pair, as Rhea knew she would be taking millions of photos for blackmail.

Rhea logically knew she should move, but lying with Jay was idyllic, and she didn't want to move to wake him, so she closed her eyes a little tighter and continued to pretend to sleep.

"Talia, what Evie means is to look at Rhea and Jay, they're cuddling." Mal said, the word itself seemed to wake Elijah, who sat up of his sofa.

"Who's cuddling?" He asked, stretching, as Talia seemed to finally understand what was happening.

"Holy shit, Rhea and Jay are cuddling!" Talia quietly exclaimed, reaching over Evie to grab her phone from her nightstand, quickly snapping a few photos.

Evie also went to take photos, instead of reaching for her phone, though, she grabbed both Rhea's digital and polaroid cameras, taking a photo of each, before placing them back on the nightstand, alongside the polaroid picture to let it develop.

Elijah had quietly walked over to Rhea's bed, where the two sleeping boy's lay, and woke them quickly and quietly, so they could also see the cuddling pair.

"Eli, with all my royal authority, fuck..." Ben told him before catching a glimpse of Rhea and Jay on the floor.

"What's wrong?" Carlos asked him, starting to break the pillow barrier he created. Ben just wordlessly pointed at them, " Am I meant to be surprised this happened? Do none of you remember the game, or the brownies, or any of last night?"

"What about last night?" Elijah asked, going into older brother mode, which Talia rolled her eyes at since she had been the victim of it many times, despite having no biological relation to him.

"Don't worry, you freak," the youngest spoke, "they just didn't let go of each other's hands after I told Jay to hold her hand for me."

"I'm glad Jay's happy," Mal said, " I don't think he ever really was before meeting her."

As she said that, Jay started to slowly act as if he was waking up, wiping his eyes to make it more believable. When he opened his eyes, he saw six pairs of eyes not-so-subtly staring at him, "Why are you glaring me down."

"You and Rhea," Carlos pointed at him, "you're cuddling."

Jay rotated his head to look at her and his eyes widened in faux surprise, "Should I wake her, or let her sleep for a bit longer? I'm sure she's been having some trouble before last night."

"What, before she had you as her teddy bear?" Mal joked, getting a laugh from Talia.

"No, she was talking about how stressful everything was with us, the coronation and-"

Suddenly, Rhea let out a yawn before Jay unintentionally shared more details than necessary, "Tals, why are you in my bed?" she murmured, sounding confused since Talia would be suspicious of her otherwise, (although that didn't stop her from snuggling closer to Jay.

"Open your eyes and see, dummy." Talia called, as Evie took another photo on her phone.

"Your voice sounds so far," She said, rubbing her eyes and turning to face the person, and pausing as she 'realised' that it was Jay, "Oh, hi."

"Morning."
