I truly believe it was the real Angel Dust... and they said more have been spotted too. What's happening??

I took a sip from my water as I finally finished my drawing. Astro was doing some finishing touches and I lay back, leaning on the headboard as I closed my eyes. My headache had died down but I still felt very sore all over.

"Should we order pizza?" I asked, looking at Astro. Their gray eyes were so focused on their drawing and the light scratches of markers on paper filled the tranquil quiet.

They finally looked up at me, eyes glittering, "YES PLEASE!" They spoke with ecstasy, pizza being one of their favourite foods.

I smiled, seeing them so happy fills me with joy. All I need in this complicated and depressing world is them and their smile. I have an instinct to protect them at all costs, like a mother would do. Though I know they are not a child and really, they are the one protecting me. For example, always bringing me home if I get too drunk at the bar.

Later that night

We both finished our pizza and put the boxes on the floor, out of the way and we were watching a film together.
Astro lay on their stomach with me sitting up next to them.

"I'm sorry to inform you.. but your child has cancer" The doctor spoke.
"Womp womp" Astro jokingly replied to the flatscreen and I suddenly broke out into laughter as they giggled along with me.

We kept laughing until suddenly the TV glitched out. Static bars flashed across the screen and the sound from the movie cut out.
"Huh?" I muttered, being confused as to why the TV was glitching.

Then the static died away, revealing a scene that wasn't part of the movie.

A man was on screen, sitting on a fancy red sofa with cyan slit pupils sat in a crimson sclera pool. He wore a bright blue smile and a striped suit with a bow tie which complimented his eyes.
The only thing was, where was his head?
Instead of the typical human skull, this man had a flatscreen TV as a head.
He spoke in a projecting voice, loud and clear.

"Dear filthy little humans... I am Vox, the television demon of hell right here on your television to interrupt your show!
I see the world has changed quite a bit, from when I was alive... Anyway, yes I am a real demon though I come in peace for tonight.
Few demons in hell kept going missing for a relatively long time and then reappearing again out of nowhere. At first I didn't care until someone threw a tantrum about Angel Dust being missing!
We don't know how the demons came back up to earth and we don't know how they get back down!
If you see any demons roaming your stupid little streets, let me know. I've implemented a TV channel, which I can see you through only if you're on it since I'm not fucking watching humans do shit all day! Only use that channel when you need to inform me about a demon not where they should be.
Goodnight."

The TV screen finally switched back to the film, with a small glitch of static. Me and Astro both just stared at the screen, shocked at the unexpected interruption.
"Have you seen any demons around, Astro?" I asked and turned to them.
"Well... no, the first time I heard of it was earlier when Angel Dust was on the news. I guess it was the real one after all." They looked at me unsteadily, probably feeling quite anxious. "Have you?"

I looked away and thought for a second but made my mind up quickly, this is serious and Astro is my best friend. "Yes.. I have. Only one though."
Astro looked at me in shock, "When??"
"Well.. the same demon visited me yesterday and a few weeks ago I think? I can't remember."

Astro sat up and gave me a hug, I hugged them back and we stayed there for a minute. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" They asked.
"No, completely fine!" I smiled. "Let's watch the rest of the film."

By the time the film had finished it was around 1:00am so we decided to go to sleep. We both brushed our teeth together after I had another few sips of my water, my headache now almost gone, then got into bed. We made small talk between us as we slowly drifted off into our separate slumbers next to each other, in my bed.

The following day went by quickly, We went shopping in our local town and had some food as well.

I returned from walking Astro home, not knowing what to do I lay on my bed and scrolled through social media. No matter the platform, everywhere was full of news of the demons appearing around the country - the only place where demons have been reported.

I got to what felt like the 100th post on the topic and threw my phone over my bed and turned, laying like a starfish on my back with my legs dangling. I stared up at the ceiling blankly, not thinking of much.

How are demons even getting here? Why only here? Will the demons appear in other places as well? So many questions... It makes sense why Alastor would be here, since I was the one who summoned him. Did someone summon the other demons? Did someone summon Angel Dust? I groaned and covered my face with my arms, What's going to happen...

Maybe Alastor knows something? Should I ask him... I looked over to my shrine, candle wax was hardened on the desk and a drawing of Alastor was on the floor. I walked over and picked it up, putting it back on the desk.
I took a deep breath and one again, grabbed a pink match to light the black and red candles.

I sat opposite my desk, on the end of my bed and waited. In a poof of ruby red smoke, the now so familiar 7ft tall deer demon stood before me. He turned around, his smile looking sincere for once.
"Hello again, Y/N!"
