"He suddenly snapped his head to the side, Ruby thorns of burning fire stabbed at my heart as I stared back - frozen in my place.

What is this? Huh? Alastor? In my bedroom? He's supposed to be in hell! What have I done.. am I gonna die? Probably gonna die. Yeah definitely gonna die."

"Alastor..?" I said in an almost inaudible whisper of fear, voice threatening to crack.
"Why hello there!" His voice was projective and loud, as well as crispy like it was blaring through a radio.

He held a staff in his right hand, a black handle with a red top piece. He had fluffy looking blood red hair and black tipped ears on top of his head, parted by the ceiling.
He also wore a small, red monocle on his right eye which reflected the bright light in the middle of the room.

"I..What.." My voice finally cracked, I swallowed and tried to form a sentence "..are you doing..here?"

"Why, you did summon me! Did you not?" His voice rang in my ears as my breathes started to quicken.

"I see this.. shrine.. you have made for me! I don't think anyone - not even the demons in hell - has ever liked me this much. He closed his eyes in a brief moment of pride.

He moved from his place and sat down on the end of my bed, dodging the hanging light on the way. "Quite a low ceiling, no?" He looked up and then looked at me "Oh, you are quite small yourself."

You're just tall! Of course my ceilings won't be that high.. He is literally the height from my floor to my ceiling..

"Uh.. yeah.. I am a human, I guess"

"Well that is very true!" He looked up thoughtfully "Anyway!" He spoke, disregarding his previous thoughts.

"Am I gonna die..." I mumbled and looked down.
"What? Speak louder, dear!" His face was locked onto me, my legs quivering as I still stood in my doorway.
"Are you going to kill me?" I looked up, staring into his eyes felt like facing Death himself!

"Why, no! Maybe I would've.. but I have no reason to murder you! For now, anyway." He paused. His pointed yellow teeth still glued into his iconic, menacing grin. "Besides..! I can see you're my biggest fan!"
"Well.. yeah..I think you're really cool.." My voice was still quiet, my brain trying to comprehend what is happening.

"So! Why'd you summon me, small human?"
I thought for a second but decided that it's better to tell him the truth. "I.. didn't mean to... I didn't think I'd actually summon you.... I was just making a little shrine thing..." I looked over to my desk. "Sorry for the trouble, you probably are a very busy demon."

"Did you not think I existed, or something! Ha! Oh well, It was nice to meet you, my friend! But I must leave now." I watched as he stood up, ears parting and head meeting the ceiling. He placed his hands on his hips, still with his staff in his right hand.

"Wait! Alastor?"
"Hm?"
"Maybe... you would like to stay? Or maybe another time?" I looked up, hopeful at the murderous demon. I wasn't sure why I wanted him to stay... he could easily kill me at any second.
Maybe it was that. The thrill of not knowing what's next - the excitement of the unknown, cold and dark laying before me. Or tall and dressed in red, standing before me.
Whatever it was, I wanted him to stay. I was curious and wanted a taste of danger.

"Well.. if you say so! Say, have you got any food around here?"
I looked wide-eyed at him, He really is staying! "Oh.. uh, what would you like?"
I thought back to the shows and videos I've watched about him. I knew he had a thing for deer blood, although I don't have any... not that a normal person actually would anyway.

"I doubt you have anything I like." He stated.
"Do you like sweets?"
"Huh?" He replied. His head tilted a little to the side, not having much more space to tilt.
He looked at me. "May I try some?"

I nodded and walked out of my room, the stairs creaking as I made me way down to the kitchen. I placed my hand on my chest and let out a big sigh. A demon is in my house! A murderous demon! And it's Alastor!!
After taking a minute to myself, processing everything, I made my way to the cupboard.

I looked through the cupboard, then took out a selection of my favourite sweets and chocolates. I headed back to my room where Alastor lay on my bed, sitting up when I entered.

For the first time since Alastor had arrived, I had actually stepped foot into my own bedroom. Crazy, right?

I placed down the sweets next to him, anxiety swelling in my stomach being so close to someone like Alastor - or a demon in general. Alastor took a bag and opened it, taking a handful of gummy sweets and eating them. His big hands made the packet look tiny - the gummies even tinier.

Suddenly his ears perked up, eyes wide and smile bright. "Those are some delicious.. sweets?!"
"May I eat the rest?" He asked, his voice still masked with his static radio filter.
"Of course! You can eat the other ones too." I said, a smile tugging at my lips despite also being terrified.

"I really must get going." He spoke after swallowing the final sweet. "It was lovely meeting you.." he turned to the shrine again. "My biggest fan..?"
"Oh!" You didn't really know what to say. "Well.. bye, Alastor! Will you come again soon...?" You stared at the demon who sat next to you on the end of your bed.
He stood up and grabbed his staff, "If you summon me again, princess, I'll come again. If not.." he stared at the empty sweet packets on the bed. "I'll come anyway."

And just like that, everything ended.
Alastor was gone. My head was spinning. Did that really just happen? Am I going crazy?

Yeah.. I must be going crazy! Haha.. You laughed awkwardly to yourself, partially trying to gaslight yourself into believing that Alastor himself was in your bedroom a minute ago, eating sweets with you.

Ruby red eyes masked with bloodlust and sin, though past the contaminated surface a red heart capable of love and affection. A soul so lonely, so murderous, yet so.. compelling.
