I turned around with a small smile, then noticed he was still holding his staff. "Do you want to put your staff down? You can just put it anywhere... as long as it's not up my-" I decided not to finish the sentence.

"You can take off your jacket if you want" I said, knowing that it's quite warm in here but also knowing that he literally lives in hell. It might have just been an excuse to see his slutty waist.

Alastor took his jacket off gently and folded it, placing it on the floor next to his staff which rested against the wall and doorframe. His frame was slim but muscular, he would make a great gay pornstar - though of course that's Angel Dust's job.

He's actually so hot I-

"Have you ever thought about growing your hair out? I think it would look really good if it was longer and tied back, keeping the undercut."
"Oh! Hmm.. I've never really thought about it, I just let my friend Rosie do whatever. It was more of a joke to begin with but I guess it might be time for a change..." Alastor looked thoughtfully. "Alright. I'll start growing it out" I smiled brightly at him, who returned a genuine smile.

I connected my phone to my TV and opened a spin wheel app. I had already made a never have I ever wheel so I just used that.

"Alright sit down here with me" I patted the space on my bed next to me, where Alastor almost instantly sat down. I admired his posture and perfectly straight back in contrast to my shrimpy position, anyway I straightened up my back and spun the wheel.

We took it in turns to spin the wheel, learning many little things about each other and telling some small stories as well. It was a good bonding experience but gets boring easily, especially with only two players so we decided to switch to the other game.

There were two stacks of cards, one for each of us. Each card had something written on it, it either tells you to do something or tell the other person something - sort of like truth or dare.

Many questions such as 'Tell player 2 about a time you were most scared' and 'Show player 1 your tattoos or piercings' Alastor didn't seem to have any, though I had (piercings/tattoos/both/none).

Again we learnt minor things about each other, it was enjoyable to say the least. Throughout both games we shared many smiles and laughs, now it was time to order food.

"Do you know any normal foods you like? You said you didn't really eat this food.."
"I don't know anything that I like, all I eat in hell is uh deer.."
"Oh!" So it is true! Alastor eats deer, just like in the series. "Well I'll order a pizza?"
Alastor seemed happy with my decision, so I called up Domino's to order a pizza for us to share.

"Okay, it should be here soon! Would you like to do some painting while we wait?"
"I would love to, though be warnes I'm not the best artist.."
I giggled a little, "It's okay!"

We decided to paint each other on some small canvases I had lying around and acrylic paints.

"Alastor?"
"Yes?" Alastor looked extremely focused on his painting, looking over at me every few seconds.
"Why me, out of everyone - every demon, every human... why?"
Alastor hesitated, looking like he was trying to find the right words before replying "I'm not exactly sure - just something. I can't bear to see you hurt or upset, I just want the best for you. I want to protect you, though I understand you are capable of doing so yourself."
I blushed a little, thinking over his reply.

"Can I ask a question now?" He asked with a polite tone.
"Go ahead" I dipped my paintbrush in the red paint I mixed on the palette. We sat next to each other at my desk, though our canvases were on easels and at an angle where we couldn't see the other's.
"Why do you live alone? I can tell you're around 18-20? If that's correct then you got your own place pretty quickly..."
"Oh.. I'm 19"
"Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you? Was that not a good question?" He looked at me with worrisome eyes.
"No it's okay! Don't worry, I'll tell you" I smiled at him, studying his features to get my painting at least somewhat accurate.

I thought about them. My parents. I hadn't done so for months as to avoid strong feelings of grief. Whenever I got overly upset about them I'd also drink until I pass out, Astro frequently took care of me. They were my one torch of light in the wallowing darkness, they were there every step. They helped me get through it.

I took a deep breath and began to talk slowly, "My mum was an alcoholic.. my parents got into a fight one night and my dad left after my mum threw a bottle at his head which got him hospitalised for a bit. He last messaged me 6 months ago and hasn't been online since. The doctors couldn't find him, he had gone somewhere. The police searched for him but couldn't find him and my mother couldn't deal with it - she blamed herself for everything but honestly, she was right to do so. It ended up being too much for her, so she offed herself. I still remember it - last year, when I was 18, walking into my mum's dead body in the bathtub. I was in absolute shock. Both my parents disappeared in less than a year, even if they weren't the best parents I miss them with my whole heart."
As I neared the end of that little life story I told, tears welled up in my eyes and I was on the verge of letting it all out. It was a dark time, though I was finally getting over it.

When I'd first experienced it I heard my mother's own voice ringing in my eyes to tell me to shut up - telling me other people have it worse. I lived by that. At least I knew them and had a decent life.

"And so, I became the owner of this house. I work a few different jobs to pay bills. The strange thing is, I only have to pay 50% of the bills. The other half gets paid automatically but neither me nor the bank or police know who, they are untraceable.

"Oh.." Alastor replied, I assumed he didn't know what to say.
"I'm sorry, Y/n"
"Don't be, it's fine - i'm fine." I flashed a sincere smile. "In fact, I am happy... because I'm here with you"
Alastor looked pleased, "I'm certainly content too." His radio filter turned off. "I wish we could spend more time together" His eyes widened, obviously shocked by his filter turning off by itself.

I love his unfiltered voice so much!! My heart started to beat faster. Before I could think any further, the doorbell rang and broke my thoughts.
