"But for you, my dear, I'm willing to take the risk." His voice was soft and gentle, unlike the murderous Alastor portrayed in the shows. I guess even the most dangerous demons have the ability to love and care.

Knock Knock

The door opened, Astro stood in the doorway with a smile. "Hi! Come in.."
They moved out the way to let me in before locking the front door.

"My aunt is watching TV in the living room. Let's go upstairs." So I followed them up the stairs and into their bedroom.

I put my bag down next to their bed and then walked over to the other side, where they stood.

"Here's your birthday present, Astro" I handed them the teal-coloured gift bag and watched them take out three wrapped gifts.

They sat down on the bed and started to unwrap the presents, starting with the sweets and then the keyring.
"Aww it's so cute!" They admired the keyring with the owl charm, bought from that vintage sort of shop with the old lady.

She started to unwrap the last present, taking off the bubble wrap they stared at the Cherished Teddy for a second. Their eyes started to fill with tears, "Sorry this is embarrassing..." They began.
"It's okay, don't worry. Do you like it?"
"I.. love it so much" They wiped their tears with their sleeve and laughed. "Thank you for all of these!"
"You're welcome!"

They sat the teddy next to their grandmother's on the shelf. I looked at all the things on their shelf and noticed a small, handmade-looking orange bear plushie sitting in a gothic dragon goblet. On its right ear was a rainbow bow hair clip from when we were younger.

For the rest of the day, we did many things such as going shopping, drawing, making smoothies and sculpting clay, though of course we couldn't do much in just one day. I didn't finish my clay sculpture completely but it was almost done. I had just needed to paint it, so I decided I would paint it at home instead, given that it's already late.

There was one thing Astro told me, something more important. They told me they'd met Angel Dust a few days ago, and told me more about him. They even had a picture. Knowing my best friend had met a demon as well put my mind at ease, I have yet to tell them the demon I met was Alastor though.

I said goodbye to Astro and left, thinking over the day we'd just had. Then thinking about Alastor. Tomorrow, we're going to hang out as well... though, he did say it was a date.

I felt my heart pound again as I thought more of the taller radio demon. His sincere smile the other night, his eyes full of passion, when he kissed my nose...

I was definitely falling head over heels for him.

On my journey home I saw the black cat again, who was in the window of their owner's house. I would be lying if I said I wasn't starting to get creeped out, especially as it's always staring at me even if it's on the other side of the road.

The sun beamed through my window, casting light rays in the gaps of the curtains. Today was the day of our date, though Alastor didn't specify a time.

I yawned and sat up, I wonder what time I should summon him? 5:00pm maybe? I'll ask when I summon him if he's busy... I don't want to be annoying or get in the way of anything.

My day proceeded as normal, I took a walk through the local park to clear my mind as I felt I was obsessing over the date. It's not like we're going anywhere special, I mean we can't go anywhere special but I'm so happy to at least get the chance to know him more. I can't shake the feeling of guilt though, he's a demon and I'm a human... I bet there are pretty hot or cute demons out there, so why'd he choose me? A human? And one he's only recently met as well.

Alastor sat in his chair at his radio station after just finishing a broadcast. The screams of his victims calmed his nerves about later, the date. And what relaxed him even more was that recently a new scream was added, a human scream.

Alastor bounced out of his seat and strolled towards a slightly cracked full-length mirror. He stood in the mirror, making sure his typical suit looked okay, his bowtie was puffy enough and his haircut didn't look so bad. He practiced some expressions in the mirror, not really getting anywhere he instead just paced around the radio tower. He was unsure of when you were going to summon him so he made sure to get ready early, he's been anticipating meeting you all day.

5:00pm came around and Alastor was sitting at the bar by himself, still waiting for your portal. And just like that, at the perfect time a black hole appeared next to him, growing larger until it was big enough to fit him in. He looked around at the hotel staff, nobody else seemed to be paying attention so he quickly got up from a bar stool and stepped into the portal, emitting red clouds of smoke when he appeared in your room.

Joy rippled through my body as I saw Alastor standing in front of me, looking unusually well-groomed and sophisticated. Awwwe he's so cute!!!

"Alastor! You look so good today..." I smiled at him. He gave me a smile back, a big and sincere smile, the smile that I love.
"Thank you my dear, you do look rather good yourself."
My cheeks tinted pink at his words but I decided to start the date.

"So.. I wrote down a few things that we could do" I went to my dresser where I had written a list and Alastor followed. He bent down over my shoulder to read it, while also giving me enough personal space.

"We don't have to do all of these things, they are just some ideas."

The list consisted of many activities such as watching a movie with snacks, cooking together (or if not, then ordering takeaway, random art things, some games where we get to know each other and more.

"Hmm.." He looked over the list. "Let's do a game first... and then eat, though I'm not exactly skilled in cooking"
"Would you like to order takeaway then?" I looked up to him. He looked thoughtful for a second before proceeding to speak, "I don't exactly remember what foods I liked, I have yet to taste many... as I don't exactly eat this stuff in hell."
"Oh right! Well it's okay, you can try some things and if you don't like them then don't worry!"

"As for the game, we could play uh... never have I ever? And also I have some cards, we take turns picking one up and it tells you to do or say something to the other person"
"Sounds good" Alastor spoke.

I turned around with a small smile, then noticed he was still holding his staff. "Do you want to put your staff down? You can just put it anywhere... as long as it's not up my-" I decided not to finish the sentence.
