Colby's P.O.V
Sam knocks on his parents door...We heard footsteps. Ben, Sam’s younger brother, opens the door. “Sam? Colby?” Ben asked, shocked. Sam smiles and hugs him before we walk in. “Mom, can I talk to you?” Sam asked, nervously smiling at his Dad. His dad is homophobic. “Sure hun” Sam pulls me into the kitchen. “Mom, me and Colby are d-dating!” he said quietly, “awe hun, I figured it was about time” Mrs. Cindy, his mom, says laughing. Me and Sam blush hard. She gives us both a hug. We walk back into the living room, his father hugs Sam and we say our goodnights! We walked up the stairs. I caught Sam before he could hit the floor. |sitting on the floor| Sam buries his face into my chest. “I-i don’t k-know w-what h-happened” he stuttered, tears falling. “Shhh it’s ok, I'm here babe” I say trying to calm him down. I kiss his blonde hair. “I l-love y-you” Sam whispered. ~some time later 12am~
Sam’s P.O.V
Despite the fact that it is about 12am, I am unable to sleep. I laid there lost in thought..Colby moved, I stayed quiet. “Babe, why aren’t you asleep?” Colby asked, sleepy/scoffy. I didn’t say anything. “Fine then” Colby smirked. He pulled me on top of him, my head resting on his chest. “Are you okay?” he asks, sounding concerned. “I c-couldn’t s-sleep” I stuttered. He tightened his grip with one hand and the other rubbing up & down my back. “I’m here, I’m here.” Colby said in a calming tone. I let my tears fall. My tears hit Colby’s bare chest, he kissed my head. “It’s ok baby.” he said, trying not to cry. “Colbs” I force out. “I’m here baby” he said, letting his tears fall. I get up and turn on the light. Colby sits up in confusion. “I’m sorry.” I said, pulling up my sleeves to reveal new & old cuts. I look down with tears falling fast. “Sammy!” Colby said with tears falling fast. Before I knew it..he wrapped me in a tight hug. “Why baby?” Colby asks with more tears falling. “Y-you, S-shea, Brennen..” I stuttered “y-you n-never h-hung o-out w-with me, Kat was cheating with B-Brennen..”I stopped to catch my breath. “I’m so sorry Sammy, I’m sorry” Colby had tears streaming down his face like me. I buried my face in his bare chest. He hugged me close & tight, he kissed my forehead. “I-i’m s-sorry-” I was cut off by Colby pressing his lips against mine. I pulled away, blushing. Colby smiled, “Do you feel better? How do you want to make it up?” I was blushing so hard.
~Time Skip (sam’s p.o.v still)~
It’s 3am and I just couldn’t sleep. I carefully get up and sit against the wall. All I could think about was that night 2 years ago at the Traphouse. | Me and Colby were sitting in the living room alone, everyone went out. I stood up and looked at him and smiled “Dance with me” he looked up at me, smiling “I don’t dance”
“Come on, please” I said, begging with a smile. Colby rolls his eyes, I pull him up to where he’s standing in front of me. Now we just stand there looking into each other's eyes, “Colby, I want you to remember this night forever” I start “Because one of us will die and there will be only one left..” He smiled “I-i-i l-love-”
Colby cut me off with a smile “I love you too, Sammy!” Those words were filled with love. I trip making us both fall to the ground laughing. I tried to get up but Colby slipped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him. I can feel my cheeks getting redder. So glad it’s dark.|
Colby’s P.O.V
I wake up and Sam isn’t in bed, I look across the room and see him with his knees tight against his chest. I walk over to him and sit in front of him. I wipe his tears with my thumb, which causes him to jump. “Are you okay babe?” I asked “you’re crying”
