Third Person
After the sun had set, Colby and Sam stepped out onto the balcony, standing side by side. Colby wrapped an arm around Sam's waist, leaning in close to enjoy the evening breeze. The night sky was clear, the stars twinkling brightly like a million diamond lights. They stood there in silence, just enjoying the moment, until the moon began to rise. The sight of the full moon was breathtaking and they both stood in awe, taking in the beauty of the night. Colby and Sam took a few more moments to enjoy the peaceful evening before heading back inside, content and full of love. Colby and Sam looked into each other's eyes, their faces bathed in the soft moonlight. Colby cupped Sam's face, gently caressing his cheek with his thumb. Sam leaned into Colby's touch, closing his eyes as he savored the moment.
Colby leaned in and kissed Sam softly, his lips lingering on Sam's as they shared a loving kiss. Sam wrapped his arms around Colby and pulled him closer, deepening the kiss. They stood there, holding each other close, their love and passion radiating from them. After a few moments, they pulled away, smiling at each other in contentment. They shared one last tender kiss before stepping back inside, their hearts full of love.
“We should go for a drive, like we used to.” Sam smiled at his lover, who was closing the glass-sliding door of the balcony.
"I would love that" Colby replied, a soft smile on his face.
“How about I drive, and after a while we get a hotel room?” Sam suggests.
“That sounds like an amazing idea.” Colby smiles, and pulls Sam closer.
“We should grab some things.” Sam smiles.
“Like what?” Colby askes, letting his lover go.
“Change of clothes, a picnic blanket..ya know stuff.” Sam replies, walking to the closet. Colby follows along. They both enter the closet. Sam grabs the black XPLR backpack, unzips it, and sits on the mahogany dresser. Sam and Colby begin to pick a change of clothes, swim trunks. The boys stuffed the clothes into the bag.
“Where is the picnic blanket?” Colby askes, looking through their blanket tote.
“It should be in there.” Sam states, searching the rest of the closet.
“I don’t see it.” Colby replies, stuffing the other blankets into the tote.
“I found it!” Sam grins, pulling the blanket from another tote. He hands it to the taller brunet.
“Great.” Colby smiles, taking the blanket and stuffing it into the bag. He zips it closed. He swings the backpack over one shoulder. Colby reached out and grasped Sam's hand, intertwining their fingers together. “Let me drive us, more like it used to be.” Sam nods.
They smiled at each other before turning and walking out of the room, hand in hand. They walked out to the car, stopping to share a quick kiss before Colby opened the door for Sam and held it until he was settled in. Colby then ran around to the driver's side, giving Sam a wink before getting in and starting the car. Colby places the bag onto the backseat. Colby leans over and pulls the seatbelt across Sam’s chest, clicking it into the buckle. Colby buckles himself in.
“Where do you wanna go first?” Colby askes, pulling out of the driveway. As he pulls onto the street, his hand resting on Sam’s inner thigh. Sam flushed.
“F-food” Sam stammered out. Colby smirked.
“What do you want to eat, love?” Colby asks, slightly squeezing Sam’s thigh.
“Rasing C-cane.” Sam stammers and looks out the window.
Colby laughs and says, "I love Raising Cane's, let's go!" He drives to the nearest Raising Cane's. He pulls into the drive through, stopping at the order place.
