Your eyes were still closed as you slowly woke up. You felt James hand trailing up and down your back. You couldn't hide your smile, which caused James to laugh. You hid your face in the pillow as he pulled you closer to him. He wanted to see the adorable face of yours. You were wondering if this was what true happiness felt like.

"C'mon let me see you, angel," James laughed as he turned your face slightly around.

"I'm not a morning person, you should leave," You laughed, keeping your eyes shot.

"Leave this beauty alone? I can't do that," James laughed as your eyes finally intertwined.

You smiled as you looked up at him. Your head on the pillow. Bucky thought to himself of being the luckiest man alive. Nothing else than cuddling had happened between the two of you last night, but still Bucky was convinced no one could be as lucky as him, waking up to someone as beautiful as you. Bucky laid on his side, so he could have a good look at you. His hand laying on your cheek, gently brushing against your skin. You wore pastel pajamas. You looked adorable. However, Bucky wouldn't necessarily mind if you wore less. He himself was only in his boxers. Bucky leaned down to kiss your lips when you moved your face to the side. Did you just reject him?

"I haven't brushed my teeth," You laughed as you sat up in bed.

"You really think I... I care about that?" Bucky said, frowning his eyebrows as he looked up at you.

You laughed low, knowing that James must have thought you were joking. However, this was the first time you had woken up with a man in your bed since your breakup. It felt weird. Which wasn't James fault, but it tragically went out over him. You looked down at him. He was still smiling. You let your fingers brush his beard lightly. You didn't want to make a big deal out of it, because it wasn't. You just needed to calm down a bit.

"I'm quickly gonna take a shower, because I still stink like alcohol," You said standing up as you grabbed your clothes along the way.

Bucky sat up and watched you as you went into your bathroom. He would've asked to join you, but he sensed it wasn't the right time. He would let you get ready on your own time. He looked out into your room. Hm, he couldn't help but wonder what it would be like living here. It was so many things you seemed to collect. It still fascinated him that you had items older than him here.

His eyes glanced through all the books you had stumbled under your bed. You seemed to never stop reading. He noticed that your drawer was slightly open. He caught a glimpse of a box in there. Bucky knew he shouldn't, but he couldn't help himself but getting curious. Who had a box inside a night drawer? It didn't make sense. You were still in the shower, so Bucky opened the drawer. You had some notes around from work laying around, and then the velvet box. Bucky carefully memorized how everything looked to put it back, before he grabbed the box. It wasn't heavy, but heavier than what he thought it would be. It made a rubble sound when he moved the box. He was severely confused. Bucky opened the box and to his surprise...

"What are you doing?" You busted out when you came back in the door.

Bucky must have been too distracted to notice the shower had gone off. He immediately looked down at the box and up at you.

"You really think you need these things?" Bucky asked, trying to not laugh or sound offended for that matter.

"Shut up," You said, this was both embarrassing and not very respectful of James to be either questioning or smoking around in. You immediately walked over to him, and was about to take the box, when he moved it away from you. You looked at him confused. Okay really? You looked at him with stern eyes, before you climbed up on the bed, trying to catch the box. You could already hear the sound of his laughter.

"James, this is not funny!" You shouted at him.

"Then tell me why you got it!" Bucky laughed, holding a tight grip around it.

You were wearing a lovely short denim skirt, with a nice white t-shirt. Your hair was damp. Bucky loved this outfit on you, and he loved watching you struggle for the box in it. The skirt was a bit too tight, so when you moved, it was easy to catch a glimpse of the good bites. For one second, Bucky lost focus as you were able to grab the box. Bucky still held into it as your toys fell out. Adult toys.

You could feel your cheeks burning up. This was nothing to be embarrassed about. It was only natural that a woman at your age had a couple of... tools for when they needed it. You closed your eyes. One thing was James knowing you had them, but visually seeing them laying on your bed was a bit too graphic for your taste. James pushed you down in the bed, so you were sitting on his lap. You grabbed the box, as you began putting them back in place.

"Why Y/n?" James asked, trying to hide his laugh.

You curled your lips. Okay, fuck it.

"I got it after I broke up with my ex, okay? And it's totally normal for women nowadays to have access to these kinds of things and I'm not gonna have you judging me for it," You said, pointing your finger at him.

James laughed low, causing you to roll your eyes at him in annoyance as you were too go off his lap.

"Hey, hey, hey, i'm not judging you," Bucky said, grabbing your hand, holding you down on his lap. He liked where you sat...

"You're literally laughing," You said, waving your hand at him as you leaned down putting the box back in the drawer.

"I just thought that a girl like you wouldn't... use those things. You are beautiful, and I know how guys, men are around you. You aren't exactly in shortage of them," James said.

It was the dumbest thing you had ever heard anyone say. James was sweet, but you forgot at times that he had the mentality of a 100 year old man. Certain things didn't translate well. It was a reason you were around old things, and not people. Things are objects without judgement, that stood the test of time. People... They bring their trauma, sorrows and mentality.

"You're reminding me right now exactly why I have those things right now," You said, lifting your tone.

Wow, you were being feisty now, Bucky thought to himself.

"Aha, You rather wanna use one of those things than being with me?" James challenged.

You began to laugh.

"Yeah, at least I can enjoy it in peace instead of being with douchebags like you!," You said pointing at the drawer.

"I am a douchebag now?" Bucky asked.

"You're acting like one," You said, waving your hand.
