Bucky stood by the bar, having a pint. It was now 9pm exactly, and you were nowhere to be found. Perhaps you chickened out. It wouldn't exactly surprise him. He knew you deep down were just playing tough, but on the inside, you were just a soft little girl, afraid to do as your mother pleased. Bucky looked over at his pint, he was going to leave when he was done with it. There was no point in getting a girl's number if he couldn't shove it in your face. He took a long sip, placed it down as he kicked himself off the bar as he began walking towards the door.

"I hope you're not leaving, it just took a bit longer getting ready for a doll," You suddenly appeared, laying a hand on his chest so you didn't bump into each other.

James stood there in awe, looking down at the petite angel figure. You wore a white little dress that hugged your figures perfectly. The loose part of the skirt made you seem playful. You didn't wear heels, but ballerina shoes. You looked innocent. Your skin was glowing, and Bucky could only dream of touching it. You wore minimal makeup, making your eyes pop out more. You had taken this game seriously. Bucky swallowed as he looked down at your hand on his chest.

"I was afraid you chickened out," James said looking back up at you.

You removed your hand from his chest. He wore a white singlet, with an open shirt, together with some beige pants. He looked good. You just knew that he had planned to remove his shirt casually from time to time to show whoever he was hitting on his beautiful muscles. Guess neither of you had come blind into this contest. Both were playing to their assets. You looked to the side, where you saw a couple of guys having a beer. One of them particularly looking over at you. You smiled weakly looking back up at James.

"I'm sorry, but I'm gonna get that guy to buy me a drink," You said, not giving James a second to think before you walked over to the gentlemen. They had clearly just begun to drink, and were around your age, so you felt comfortable.

"Want a drink?" The guy said.

"I want your number first," You said playfully, making the guy blush.

Bucky stood still by the door, just looking at you. How you so easily were able to swing them. Of course you were. You were an absolutely amazing woman, smart, good looking and vibrant. It was nothing to not like about you. The guy had already given you a drink, as you sat down close to him. Shit, this competition was real, wasn't it?

Bucky looked around when he saw a girl in the corner, opposite from you on the bar counter. He smiled weakly, he could do this. He began walking over to her, ordering a drink for himself, before he acted surprised to see the girl beside him.
