Jenny's POV

Jake and I run through the forest and we enter my raptors territory. "Trees" I tell Jake.

"But I can't leave you here" he states.

"With strangers here, it'll agitate them. They are more likely to listen to me if they don't see you. I'll be fine" I assure him.

"I'll follow from above, be-careful" he tells me. I nod and he climbs the nearest tree. While I continue on foot. I soon hear a familiar voice nearby. Along with some raptors.

"What are you saying? What are you looking for?" the voice says and I see Doctor Grant hiding behind a tree.

"Dr Grant" I say surprised and he looks at me shocked. I signal for him to be quiet and grab his hand. "Follow me" I say and go to lead him to somewhere safe when we're surrounded by the raptors. "Whoa, easy guys!" I tell them hands raised standing in front of Dr Grant.

"Jenny..." Dr Grant goes to speak.

"Quiet" I tell him as I eye the raptors. Just then Luna, the alpha female appears and she looks pissed about something. "Easy Luna, we mean no harm" I say calmly and she snarls. "What's wrong girl?" I ask her concerned. I've never seen her so riled up. I know she has a nest nearby, but she has never been this aggressive before.

Suddenly smoke bombs drop around us. Causing the raptors and us to cough. I cover my mouth. "Jenny!" Jake shouts from above.

"Stay up there!" I yell and cough again. Someone grabs my hand and drags me along. I hear to people running beside me. I know one has to be Dr Grant, but who is the second? The hand is to small to be Jake's and not petite enough for a woman. Maybe a teenage boy?

We soon exit the smoke and continue to run. I see it is a teenage boy. Dr Grant and I follow him to a flipped truck. We go in and he turns the lamp on as I shut the door behind us. "Thanks. Thanks a lot, Eric, Jenny" Dr Grant says.

"You know who I am?" the boy asks surprised. Or should I say Eric? I guess he must of been the survivor from the para-sailing incident.

"Yeah. Your parents are here. They're looking for you" Dr Grant states.

"Great, more people to find" I grumble. Hopefully Jake finds them and keeps them safe until we meet up again. Then we can call the main land and get out of here.

"Together?" the boy asks.

"Together" Dr Grant agrees.

"That's not good. They don't do so well together" Eric states.

"Neither did my aunt and uncle" I tell him.

"You'd be surprised what people can do, when they have too" Dr Grant tells us.

"You're Alan Grant and Jenny Hammond. What are you both doing here?" Eric asks us.

"Jake Asger and I have been doing research here for a while now" I tell him shrugging.

"Four years" Dr Grant tells me.

"Wow, that's a long time" I state. "But what brought you here Dr Grant?" I ask him curious. Last I heard nothing would get him to come to a dinosaur filled island again.

"His parents invited me a long" he answers sheepishly.

"I read both of your books. I liked the first one more. Before you were on the island. You liked dinosaurs back then" Eric states. I personally have only read Dr Grant's first book.

"Back then, they hadn't tried to eat me yet" Dr Grant tells him matter of factly.

"When Ingen cleared out, they left a lot of stuff behind" Eric tells us.

"Yeah, Jake and I scavenged something for ourselves" I state.

"Any weapons?" Dr Grant asks us.

"Some tranq rifles" I tell him shrugging.

"No, and I just used the last of the gas grenades" Eric explains.

"And I appreciate that" Dr Grant tells him.

"We both do, but I wonder what made them so mad" I state.

"The raptors?" Eric asks as Dr Grant exams the truck.

"Yeah, they aren't usually so hostile. Something must of disturbed their nest, that's the only thing I can think of" I state. Suddenly Dr Grant picks up a flask of a yellow liquid.

"Be careful with that. T-Rex. It scares the smaller ones away, but it attracts one really big one with a fin" Eric explains.

"The spinosaraus" I state and curse. Who'd be stupid enough to make one of those?

"This is T-Rex pee? How did you get it?" Dr Grant asks.

"I'd rather not know that" I tell him.

"You don't want to know" Eric agrees.

"I have to tell you, I'm astonished you've lasted eight weeks on this island" Dr Grant tells him. "Though I'm also surprised you and Mr Asger have survived four years" he adds.

"We're good at what we do" I tell him shrugging.

"Eight weeks? Is that all it's been?" Eric asks him. "Feels longer" he states.

"You both are alive and that's the important thing" Dr Grant states. "Thanks to you, that's one thing we all have in common" he adds. "Did you read Malcolm's book?" he asks.

"Yes" Eric says.

"So?" Dr Grant asks.

"I don't know. I mean. It was kind of preachy. And too much chaos. Everything is chaos. Seemed like he was high on himself" Eric explains. I laugh.

"That's two things that we have in common" Dr Grant states.

"Oh come on, he wasn't that bad" I tell him. "He was actually kind of nice last time I saw him" I add. "He's a good father anyway" I state. "Anyway, we should all get some rest. To dangerous to walk around at night" I tell them. "Tomorrow we'll leave to search for Jake and the others" I state. They both agree and we have some food. Before calling it a night.

Meanwhile with Jake. He'd found Billy, Paul and Amanda. He introduced himself and learnt their names. He assured them Alan is safe with Jenny and they'd look for them tomorrow. Until then, they decide to sleep in the trees as it was the safest spot currently. And it'd be dark before they made it back to the tree house.
