It was graduation day. Everyone had gotten ready for the big day and got dressed up. The boys in a suit and Hyejin in a beautiful black dress. She had to beg Miles to get in a suit but it was worth it. He looked amazing. Their graduation was celebrated big. The school ground was filled with colorfull flags and ballons.
Some of the students invited their whole family or came with their girl/boyfriend. Some even shocked everyone like those typical quiet students with no friends. They got a big glow up and are in a relationships. It's flabbergasting but fun. The last day shows everyones real side.
Hyejin arrived right on time and sat down in the row of her classmates. When they waited for the graduation to start, professors entered the room. One by one standing in a row, when the last professor walked in the principal stood in the front near a speaker. He tapped on it a couple of times trying to make the crowd quiet.
'Attention everyone.' he said through the speaker.
'Thank you all for coming to celebrate such a big day!' he started his speech. 'Every student in this room has worked hard to get as far as they are now.' he looked around the room proudly. 'I am proud to have the title as principal when I see students grow. Just like these groups. Today we will give each student the time to take a picture with their chosen professor and their reports, after they may walk the red carpet one last time.' He explained to the crowd.
'So take your seats and settle in. Let's start with class 4A.'
They waited and waited getting extremely bored of seeing the same process over and over again. People chose to get on the photo with a lot of different professors. It was pretty surprising because she always heard negative things about the most of them. Except for Do- hwan, Cooper, Nolan and the principal.
But most of them were into Nolan, Jones, Smith, Do- Hwan and Wilson. Too bad for the professors who've been chosen three times or less.
'Next and final class, 4F!' Hyejin poked the boys in their sides making them focus again. 'We will start ---' they sighed forgetting it was in alfabetic order. 'This is so boring, killing the mood man.' Miles said while he pulled his phone out. 'Miles, no phones remember?' Elijah whispered to him but he was unbothered. 'What will they do about it? Suspend me?' he chuckled sarcasticly.
Colby was called out, he walked to the front, chose Do- Hwan to take a picture with and took one alone. Elijah did the same thing. Hyejin obviously chose Nolan. Miles on the other hand surprised some people. He chose the principal trying to be a pain in the ass for one last time. 'Great job Miles. I'm proud of you.' he said and shook his hand one last time. 'Thank you for everything sir.'
After everyones turn it turned into a huge party with everyone celebrating. Parents and loved ones gathered around. There was a huge photobooth, bar with snack and drinks, dance floor and the rest area where people could talk with each other instead of partying like wild animals. Hyejin and Nolan were there, together with some other students and professors. 'Congratulations, I'm proud of you.' Nolan said again, he had been congratulating her for over 3 times already.
'Now that you have graduated. How about we move into a new appartment?' he asked her and took a sip of his drink. 'Are you sure?' she sounded excited. Even though her dad had moved she wanted to close the chapter in her life and move somewhere else. Designing their own house.
'Of course and don't worry about getting a job quickly, I will pay first and you can just lay out what you've got.' he reassured her, but she was still doubting it. 'No, let's take it slow. Find a nice place, while I get a job and just take it easy.' She said. 'There's no rush.'
'You got a way of talking babe, it makes me love you more everyday.' he put his drink on the small table next to them and held her hips. 'Do you now?' she moved her arms over to his neck wrapping them around them. 'Since your no student anymore this won't be a problem.' he moved closer, giving her a kiss. 'Mm. Did you notice that most of the times that we kissed here we got interrupted?' she giggled and hugged him. 'That's right, they didn't spare us.' he laughed while patting her on her head holding her close.
'Thank you Flynn, for everything you've done.' she could feel his heart beat a little faster. He was surprised by her words, it happened a lot. She would say these things that makes his heart race. 'Thank you Hyejin, for letting me be a part of your life.' he kissed her head.
'Your the best thing that ever happened to me and I promise I'll hold you close, until death do us part.'
'I love you.'
After the graduation Hyejin and Nolan started looking for appartments nearby his work. Hyejin got a job pretty quickly at a big writers company. She wanted to be a writer since she was a little girl. When she got the job they obviously celebrated and she got a big surprise from Nolan that same day. He had bought a beautiful appartment!
Elijah and Sung- Min also moved in together. Sadly far away from Hyejin. It was a 2 hour drive and compared to the 10 minute distance between them it was a lot.
Colby decided to travel around the world for a whole year. Just to cool off from all the stress and long time studying. It had been on his bucket list so he decided to go right at it when he graduated. He took some jobs during his travels to see how things would work in different countries and looking for his ideal job. His mind had always been lurking to being a doctor. It was ideal to look around in each country he visited to see how they did things differently.
Miles shocked his friends and family when he introduced his girlfriend to them. He had met her on graduation day, it was the most silent girl they knew. Not the type they all expected him to date. They did take it slow, starting of with dates, eating out and movie nights.
Their story was just about to begin.
