At the sleepover the girls are all having fun playing games, like charades, board games, spin the bottle and truth and dare. As well as watching a movie, Jim had texted Melinda that if he don't, answer her he is with his friend's having poker night. Melinda had told Jim that she understands and she misses him. He told her that he misses her too. She went back to her sleepover and during the game truth or dare, things got out of hand when it was Melinda's turn, when she picked dare, and got dared to call Jim and tell him that she thinks he is hot, She didn't want to do that at all, she was embarrassed to even say that in front of anyone, She told Mandy no that she is not doing that, that she don't even know his number, even though she did. But she was not gonna let Many and the rest of them know that. Mandy hacks into the school system and tells everyone that she learned this from Mr. Wakanna. Melinda had called Jim and he didn't recognize the number so he answered Clancy. Melinda took a breath and says," Mr. Clancy I am just calling to say your hot.". Jim tells her thank you, just as all the girls start laughing. That made Jim feel uncomfortable and embarrassed about, because he was with his friends at that time. He told them he don't want talk about , what is wrong with him. Melinda went in the bathroom to cry, she texted Jim please forgive me, I didn't want to do that at all. Jim texted I can't talk about it right now, that they will talk about some other time. Melinda had cried a bit more before coming out. Delia told Mandy you had no right to do that to her, what the hell was wrong with her, does she not get how embarrassing that is, how would she like it if Melinda did that to her with someone she likes. Andrea went to check on Melinda, she let her in and Andrea text Delia Mel is crying because of her. Delia said your a bitch Mandy, you made a sweet innocent person cry. Delia went in the bathroom and comfort Melinda with Andrea. He must be mad at me and just as embarrassed about this as I am. Delia told her shhh it is okay, we will tell Mr. Clancy that we know what happened. She forced you to do that. We got you Mel. She shook her head okay and wiped away her tears. Mandy mom Sheri came in and said it was time to go to bed. They all went to bed. Melinda didn't say anything to anyone about anything. She texted Jim once again, I am sorry about that goodnight. I hope you can forgive me. Jim never texted back at all, he was still playing poker with his friends until, 12:20 am and only looked at her text, never said anything. In the morning when everyone came downstairs. Sheri noticed that Melinda didn't look like she was having fun at all anymore. She asked what was up. Melinda told her what Mandy and she yelled at Mandy right there, HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO HER, YOUNG LADY I DIDN'T RAISE YOU LIKE THAT, YOU ARE GROUNDED AND THIS SLEEPOVER IS OVER. GIRLS GO HOME, MANDY YOUR ROOM NOW. Melinda and the other girls went home and did their own things. Except for one and that was Melinda. She had to see Jim, she had to explain what happened, and get him to forgive her. Melinda went to Jim's place and knocked on his door. Jim told her just a moment, he'll be right there. Jim had answered the door with just jeans and no shirt. Melinda said can we talk please. Jim let her inside and shut the door. He folded his arms, obviously still upset about last night. Melinda told him I didn't want to do that, she said if i didn't she was gonna punch me and tell the, whole school that we are sleeping together, we're not doing that. Jim looks at her and tells her, that he was with his friends that she did that, well his friends was there for poker night. Melinda told him that she is sorry, she cried herself that night. Jim told her to be honest with him about something. Melinda told him yes of course anything at all. Jim told her promise me that you will, take the chance of the rumors next time, that they will handle it together, then do something like that. Melinda told him that she promises, that Mandy got punished by her mom for doing that. Does that means he forgives her. Jim tells her yes and kisses her deeply. Melinda returns the kiss, wraps her legs around Jim, he brings her to his room lays her on the bed. Kissing her still and was about to take off her shirt. When he stopped before he could, Melinda had asked what is wrong, why did you stop. Jim told her that they can't go that far not yet. Melinda asked why not I am giving you consent about it, that is all that you need right. Jim told her no that he also needs the consent of her parent or parents since she is under the age, no one knows about us right now. Melinda told him that her dad will give the permission that, he trusts me. He knows I wouldn't do anything to get myself in trouble. Jim tells her that they have to talk him himself. Melinda calls her dad and asks if he is busy, Tom tells her for her never at all. Melinda asks about bringing her boyfriend over so they can talk. Tom tells her yeah of course baby girl. I would love to meet your boyfriend and set someone rules for him. Melinda tells him that they will be there soon, The sleep over is over because of a issue that happened. Tom told her okay they will talk later about it. Melinda told Jim what he said, He told Melinda let him throw on a shirt and they can go. Melinda smiles and asks if she can say something without him getting embarrassed about it. Jim tells her sure she can since it is just them. Melinda tells him that he has a sexy chest. Jim blushed on that one. Melinda asked him is that a good thing. Jim told her that yeah it was. He put on a blue sweater like shirt and pulled her to him. It is okay Mel that you said that. You caught me off guard I didn't think that is what it was gonna be. He kissed her and she returned the kiss, They both left to her dad place and Jim had followed her there. When they got there, Tom had asked who was this. Melinda told him this is my boyfriend Jim, Jim this is my dad Tom Gordon. They shook hands, Jim had explained that he was subbing for the teacher Mr. Bouche, Tom asked if this was a good idea then. Melinda told him that they keep it pro at school, do they have his permission. Tom asked well does he make you happy, and someone you really want to be with. Melinda tells him yes to both. Tom tells her okay then I am okay with it. The rules are this, if she tells you no to something, the answer is no. If your both okay with then go for it. Just if you two deiced to have sex with each other, then please use condoms, until your out of school all together sweetie deal. Jim and Melinda both agreed to that. Jim had told Melinda that he will see her later though. That he promised the guys he will play again tonight. He kissed Melinda before he left. And told her that he will text her later. Melinda told him okay that she will be waiting for his text. Jim smiled at her and said maybe if she wants that, they can fall asleep on video call together. Melinda had told him that she would like that. Jim kissed her once more. Melinda returned the kiss and Jim left to go to his friend Ritchie house. When he got there, he got asked what took him so long, Jim told them that is his business and no one else. Freddy laughs and says I bet he has a girlfriend. Jim blushed which made Freddy say I was right, because other wise he would not be blushing. Jim told them all to shut up. They just got together like two weeks ago, they all just nodded at Jim. Before he went to far with Melinda he wanted to, wait until they were together longer than two weeks. He knew that he was already falling in love with Melinda, there was not a doubt in his mind that he was. He didn't know if Melinda was falling in love with him or not. Melinda was falling in love with Jim as well. When the night was coming to a end, Melinda was waiting to hear from Jim. She was starting to wonder if he forgot about calling her. Jim had headed home and got into bed. He called Melinda and she answered right away, she told Jim that she thought he had forgotten to call her. Jim told her never that he would never forget about her, Melinda smiles and lays her head on her pillow, while Jim does the same thing. They both fell asleep thinking about the other, and dreaming about the other. They both had the feel that, they were meant to be together. Only thing that Melinda is gonna be hesitant about is, telling Jim her little secret because of what had happened before. Even though Jim is not like that but she is still scared of that. That is one thing that she will always be scared with, because of Kyle he did that to her. He ruined her like that. Melinda had a feeling that she could trust Jim, and that is what mattered to her. She just wanted someone that would love her for her, and accept her gift. Try and help her the best that they could. Melinda knew that her soulmate would help her the best he could. She is hoping that Jim is her soulmate. But only time would tell her on that one. Jim was starting to think that maybe some how Melinda might know, about all the strange things that has been happening to him. He didn't know why he had that feeling that she might but he did. Maybe because of the fact that it didn't start happening, until sometime after they had met each other. And started to get closer to each other. That all the strange things had started to happen. It was as if Dan was trying, to send his little brother a message from behind the dead. Jim just didn't understand how that was possible at all. Could his brother have jinxed him on finding a ghost whisper after. It was something that kept waying on Jim's mind. He just couldn't shake that feeling that he had. Especially since that was the last words that Dan had said to him. That he would know he was around if he met the one, unless he met a ghost whisper. Even though the real name for them was a medium. Could all that be possible. Jim was driving himself crazy with, all the thinking about that. He didn't want to bring it up to his mom. Because she was the type that didn't believe in anything like that. But Jim did and he was all kinds, of curious about all that kind of stuff, he just didn't know who to ask about it, right now at the moment. Jim really wanted to know. Melinda kept wondering about what her grandmother said to her, that she will find someone that, loves and cares for her, for who she is, that she will just know when he comes along. Since she met Jim she just had that feeling that he might be the one, The one that her grandmother kept telling her about and that she would feel.
