Chapter Sixteen

As time went by. Melinda had a baby boy and they named him Aiden. Jim was now a doctor at Mercy Memorial Hospital. Melinda was an antique shop owned by her long-time friend Delia. She lost her husband Charlie when Ned was 7. Andrea died from a plane crash when she was on her way to see her brother. Jim had did his best to comfort Melinda when Andrea died. Melinda had told Jim that she wanted to try for another baby. Jim agreed and they hoped that they would have a baby girl.  Melinda had hoped for the same thing. Delia had found someone else. One of Jim's old colleagues. Jim never got shot he just slipped into a coma but he made it through for Melinda and Aiden. He remembered who they were and had went on to be a doctor. Melinda had found out 3 months after he had gotten shot that she was pregnant. That made Jim happy about that. Aiden was excited to be a big brother. Delia was happy about it so was Ned her son with Charlie. Faith finally came around about Melinda and Jim being together. And was happy about her grandson. And that she will be a grandma again. When the baby was born it was a girl. She named her Maryann Andrea Clancy. And they have their son Aiden Lucas Clancy. Melinda and Jim couldn't be happier. They have been married for 6 years now and 2 children. Faith had learned Melinda's secret and found out her grandkids had their mother's gift as well. Beth had married her boyfriend and Amelia and Tom were now married. Jim and Melinda had renewed their vows when she was pregnant with Maryann. Jim and Melinda had told their kids of how they met. And when they fell in love. Aiden was shocked that his dad was once a teacher and that is how his parents met and fell in love. Not a day goes by that Melinda and Jim thank god for them to cross paths and fall in love. They knew from the start they would end up where they are now. Married and a family together.  And live their dreams out together. Jim still helped Melinda with her ghost and supported her through all the nightmares and the issues that they caused her. Jim knew what he was getting into years ago. He promised then he'd always be there for her and sure enough he was.
