Chapter Eleven

Mandy was thinking that something was up and she was gonna find out what. She went to see her lover to mention it to him. He told her that he will see what he can find out. When they day was close to over and it was at time for Jim's class. Melinda went in first and Jim handed her the notebook. Inside was a note saying, Dear Melinda my love, I think we should stop the notes, since we can always text each other, and we see each other, just about every day and night anyways. At least that way we are also safe baby. Just nod and you can keep the notebook for something else. I love you so much Mel. Love always your man Jim. Melinda looks up and nods. Jim smiles. Mandy had seen that and thought that she had watch them closely, to find out what is going on. When school was over Mandy had followed Melinda to Jim's house. When she seen them outside kissing, she couldn't believe what she was seeing at all. Jim had lifted Melinda up kissing her deeply, he brought her inside his house, and Faith had asked Melinda if she wanted, to stay for supper, Melinda told her that she would love too, but she made plans with her dad's girlfriend. She just wanted to kiss Jim since she, couldn't kiss him at school. Faith told her maybe some other time. Melinda told her yeah most definitely. Melinda and Jim kissed each other once more, Melinda left to go home and see Amelia, when she got there she Amelia had everything set up for them. Just as she promised her, she taught Melinda how to cook. Faith and Jim showed up, Tom had invited them in, Melinda and Amelia had brought out Empanada, They all said that it looked good. And for desert they brought out was fudge balls. Everyone tried it and tells her that it taste really good. She tells them thank you. When everyone was done eating, they all went to watch a movie, by 10 Melinda said that she was gonna head to bed. Jim told his mom they better go he has work in the morning. When they got back to Jim's place, he went to get ready for bed and tells his mom goodnight. Faith told Jim goodnight and that she will be leaving tomorrow as well. Amelia and Tom stayed up talking, and Amelia told Tom that she thinks that Melinda and Jim are getting really serious about each other, If they aren't already there, Tom asked her what does she mean by that. Amelia told him the way that they act around each other. That it just seems like that is all. Tom says yeah it does seem like that, but you know something I am glad that she found someone. She needs someone by her side besides me. She had been through a lot. It takes a special person to get to Melinda the that Jim did. He got her to open up and got to trust with her heart again. She had a hard time after her grandmother died. and her boyfriend broke her heart. She never trusted anyone much since. Now she met Jim and she trusts him, So I am gonna say that she, loves Jim and wants to keep him. I honestly couldn't be more happier for her. If she had wanted to move in with him, I'd let her do it because I know that it would make her happy, and I know that she will be safe. Amelia smiles at him, well there is a way that you can test that. What if you tell her she can stay a few weeks with Jim. Then that would tell you exactly if she would be happy with him. Tom told her that is a great idea we can find out from her in morning. Amelia told Tom that she better go home tonight, she don't want to make Melinda feel uncomfortable at all. That made him smile on how much, she cared about how his daughter would feel about things. It was the one thing that her mom's boyfriend didn't seem to care about at all. At least Amelia did care about her feelings. When morning came Tom had brought that up about what he and Amelia had talked about. Melinda had asked if he was serious about this. Tom had told her that he was serious about it. That made her all kinds of happy and told her dad that she has to ask Jim about it first, but she let him know about it. Tom told her okay, that he will be waiting. Melinda was all kinds of excited about what she was told. When she got there, she ran to Jim's classroom and shut the door, told him the new and he hugs her, tells her that is great to hear, we can do that this weekend, his mom is still there right now. Melinda told him okay. When Mr. Wakana comes in and ask what is gonna why is the door closed, Jim told him that Melinda had just wanted to talk about something that, was bothering and didn't want the whole school to know, that she trusts me, so I told her anytime that she needs to talk to come and talk to me. Mr. Wakana tells him okay just checking. Not like it should matter to him because he was screwing around with, Mandy for about 1 year now. Jim looked at Melinda and says that was a close one. Do you think he suspects something, Melinda told him no I think someone tipped him off, the question is who would do that. I know that Delia and Andrea would never do that. Jim tells her that he trusts them, because she does, but that maybe it will be best if she goes to hang out with them. Melinda tells him yea and goes to get her stuff from her locker. She tells tells Delia and Andrea about what happen. They told her it is probably Mandy since they turned her down, for her little sleepover, due to what happened last time. Charlie had gotten there later, and asked what was going on. They told him that Mandy went and told Mr. Wakana that Melinda and Mr. Clancy are sleeping together, all because he let Melinda study a few times in there, and she had Melinda crying at a sleepover, because she hacked into the school computer and got Mr. Clancy number and made her call him to say he was hot, or she was gonna punch her, so Melinda did it and all because we told her mom what she did, She just got off groundation and wants another sleep over, we told her we don't know because of what happened the last time. She went told the principal that Melinda and Mr. Clancy are sleeping together. Charlie looks shocked and pissed off and tells them that is not right at all, Melinda wouldn't risk anything like that at all, and who wouldn't if they are threatened to be hit like that. I would even tell a female teacher that if I was told I would be punched. I would never mean it because I have the world's greatest fiancee ever but you know what I mean. Delia tells him that she knows what he means, but the point is now they are gonna be watched because of her. We suspect that there is something going with her and the principal but we have no proof. Charlie tells her well if we can find someone that, is good at being sneaky then, maybe we can try and catch them in the act. You know what we should do. What is that Melinda asks him. Charlie tells her that maybe since this involve their crew, and their favorite teacher. That maybe they can all get together and see what we can come up with. Melinda tells him that is a great idea. Lets go ask Mr. Clancy. They go to his class. Melinda shuts the door, making Jim look at her her suspiciously. Melinda tells him relax some there you, Charlie has a idea and we don't want anyone to hear it. Jim tells her okay what is that he sits in the chair. Melinda sits on the desk next to him. Charlie comes out and says Well Melinda told me about what happened. So I was thinking maybe some how the five of us can, somehow find out if something is going on with Mandy and Mr. Wakanna. Cause it seems funny she can hack into the computer and get away with it. Jim tells him that is funny, because no one but the school has his number. Trying to throw him off about Melinda having it. Melinda looks at him so what do you say are you in, or do kids do this on our own. Making Jim laugh, well one isn't one much anymore, but yeah count me in. Melinda playfully kicked him. Charlie looks shocked I knew it, you have a thing for him. Melinda and Jim snap there heads around and look at him. Jim nods in approval, Melinda tells Charlie not a thing, try dating and have been for the last three months. Charlie laughs and says I told you that you would have someone by the end of the year. Jim laughs and says okay shhh, no one else knows about this but all of us in this room and her dad. Now this is what we'll do. The bell rings. Jim tells them we will meet at mine, Mel knows where I live. Mean time we have to keep up appearances that nothing is going on deal. They all say deal. They go to their classes, Melinda and the kids gets a 8 page essay. Melinda tells them we can do this. When it comes to Jim's class they take their seats and act like nothing is going. Jim hands them their papers he corrected. They were all pleased with their work. Jim told them since they were all doing so good. He thinks it is time for a free period to do what they want. Melinda asked if he had a extra laptop so she can do her English paper. Jim told her yes I do Ms. Gordon here you go. He hands her it and she starts to type the paper. He works on something else. While they are all playing games or doing homework. Jim text Melinda and tells her I can't wait to, get you at our house so, I can hold you and kiss those sweet lips. Melinda looks at it and smiles. Text back oh really now, I can't wait to taste your sweet kisses either, and our house, since when did it become ours. Jim smirks when he gets it and text her back, since now unless you want me to keep saying mine. Melinda text no I like the sound of that, I have to talk to about that later too. Jim sends a smile and winky face. Melinda gets back to her work. The bell rings she saves her work, hands the lap top to Jim. They all get packed up and when the others are gone, Jim takes off the house key and hands it to Melinda. You four go I will meet you there, Melinda takes the key and and leave with Andrea, Delia and Charlie behind her. They get to Jim's place and Melinda gets out of her jeep to go unlock the door, and lets them in. They all look impress wow this place is beautiful. Melinda smiles. Not long after Jim got home and comes through the door, Him and Melinda share a kiss and hug. Jim holds Melinda on his lap while the others sit at the table. Here is what I am thinking, when I was growing up I was into spy stuff, I still have some of my spy stuff, what if we use to spy on them, I even have some spy camera's we can set up in his office some how. One of us has to get in there, so we can be sneaky and put it in there, and see what is going on. Charlie tells them well I can do that, it has been two years since I pulled a prank but I am sure I can still do it. Jim asks Melinda to get off his lap for a second. Melinda does and he goes to get the cameras and hands it to Charlie, you have to try and hid this without him seeing it. Or this plan doesn't work. They all agree, Charlie, Delia and Andrea leave, Melinda stays there with Jim. They make out some and Melinda tells him I have to tell you something. Jim looks at her what is that Mel. She tells him that her dad had said that she could come stay with him for a few weeks, see how it goes and if it goes well. That she can move in with him. Jim tells her that is great idea, so that way they will know when the time comes. Only when she is ready, they have only been together for three months, he doesn't want her to feel like she is being rushed. Melinda tells him that she knows and straddles Jim making him smile, your so beautiful Mel. She blushed and smiles and kisses her. I want you to know something though, Melinda tells him what is that. He tells if it comes down to it and he has to, he will become a paramedic/fire fighter, That no matter what happens in this plan, know that he isn't giving up on them. That he chooses them over the school. Melinda smiles and tells Jim that she loves him. He tells her that he loves her too. They cuddle together and watch a movie, Melinda says," Jim one thing though, are you okay with ghost coming into our home for my help". Jim looks at her and says, Mel it is who you are so yes, of course I will be. It will suck if they show up when we're in the middle of making love, but if you have to help them then you do. I wouldn't change you for the world". Melinda smiles and kisses him he kisses her, it ends up in a bit of a make out session, they stop to watch the movie, Melinda notices the time and says shit I have to get home it is 11. Jim walks her out and they make out by her jeep. Melinda smiles and gets in after Jim opens the door for her. They share one kiss and say their I love you's Melinda goes home. When she gets home she hears moaning and groaning from her dad's home, she laughs and leaves a note, Dad I came home and heard you and Amelia, I am gonna take you up on that offer, so you two have to keep me up. I love you and have fun, Love Mel. She packs up some stuff and heads back to Jim's. When she enters his house, he smiles and asked what's up, and told her keep the key that he found the other one. Melinda smiles and tells him what was up. He laughed and told her that she is more than welcome to stay at their house. They went to bed for the night and held each other all night. Melinda loved it like this, because now she didn't have to dream about being his arms at night, because she will be. She could learn his sleep habits and he could hers. But that is not what happened. She just wondered how he would react to her night terrors from her visions. And her being sweaty from them and jolting up from them. If he would comfort her after she was terrified from them. Only time would tell on that one and she would have to wait for it to happen. Melinda had always hated that part. But what she didn't get was that it was quiet, to quite for her. But she was able to get some sleep though while she could. When the alarm went off for them to get up, Jim went to cook breakfast, while Melinda worked on her paper, Melinda couldn't wait for her birthday though. Because then she can touch the money that her grandmother had left for her. She had to be 18 to touch it and she was gonna be the in a month. She never told anyone about it not even Jim. She thought about splitting the day in half, some with her dad and Amelia, some with her friend and some with Jim. She loved it that she had such a amazing support system, the only thing now was to let Amelia know that, she can talk to spirits. And how she will feel about it, she was hoping that she would because she really likes her. Tom called Jim's house and Melinda answered it, he says," hey baby girl sorry about that, we didn't mean to". I want to ask you something in person, and I think we should tell Amelia what you can do". Melinda tells him that she was thinking about it as well, that her and Jim can go over after if that is okay, Tom tells her of course it is, he is the one that you want to be with, so he can come to if he wants to. Melinda tells her dad okay that she will find out and let him know later. Jim brought them out their breakfast and Melinda told Jim what was going on. Jim told yeah that he would go if she had wanted him too. Making her smile, that is one of the many things that she loves about Jim, that he tells her the choice is hers if she wants him to follow her, not just do it and make it seem like he didn't trust her. Melinda tells her dad that they will see them later. Jim and Melinda eats breakfast together, and Melinda tells Jim that is one of the many things I love you about you. Jim asks her what is that, she loves about him. Melinda tells him that you tell me, if I want you too come with me, instead of just assuming things, that I want. Jim tells her well that is how it should be. In a relationship Mel if you can't trust who your with then there is no relationship at all. I trust you with everything I have. Melinda tells him that she feels the same way about him, or she would still be keeping her secret from him. Jim looks at her and says excuse me it is not your secret anymore, its our secret. We're together now so it is our secret. He also tells her that if she is serious about wanting to move in with him. That she might as well get use to saying that things is theirs not just one or the others anymore. Melinda had really loved that idea and told him that she can get use to that. Jim tells her that he could as well. Melinda tells Jim come next month if  she is here, she wants to help him with the bills. Jim tells her that she doesn't have to do that, and how is she gonna do that. Melinda tells him about how much her grandmother left her. He is shocked that she left her 600,000,000, tells her no Melinda you should keep that for college. Melinda tells him that she has enough to do both not worry about it, remember it is their responsibility for the house, when she does movie in. Jim laughed and tells her holding my own words against me now. Melinda finishes her breakfast and tells him yup. Jim tells her alright you win this round. I will win one day, they kissed each other sweetly and got ready for school. Jim couldn't help but check her out, while he was buttoning up his shirt. Melinda asked him if there is something that, he see's that he likes at all. Jim tells her that he see's something he wants later. Melinda comes over to him and wraps her arms around his neck. She tells him you can have me anytime that you want me, I am all yours. Jim wraps his arms around her tells her, that he is hers anytime that she wants him. Melinda smiles and tells him, I would now if we had time but we don't. Jim smirks and says dam it. Earning a laugh from Melinda. They left in their own Vehicles so that no one would know, that they would be living together and went different ways there. Jim got there first and went in his classroom. Melinda got there the same time as Charlie and Delia. She asked them are you ready for this. They nodded Andrea says I just seen them together on the side of the building now, would be good. Charlie snuck in the office and put the camera where no one could see it. While Delia was recording Mandy and Mr. Wakanna making out, and his hands down her pants, with her hands up shirt. Delia ran into Jim's classroom, Melinda and Andrea was already in there doing homework. Delia and Charlie comes in and shuts the door. Jim looks at them and says," okay team is the plan in motion, and Delia you ran in here, what is up." Delia shows them what she had gotten, making them all smirk. And Melinda says perfect save that, they try anything with us or she does, we can use this against them. Team lets make it look like we know nothing and that everything is still the same. Melinda and Jim share a quick kiss. Delia, Andrea, Charlie and Melinda go in the cafeteria and act like everything is good. Mandy comes in and ask if they thought about the sleepover. Melinda, Andrea and Delia tells her yeah they did, and they are willing to give her one more chance. When the real reason was because she tried anything, they had their revenge to get on her. No one knew but the five them. Melinda asked when was it and Mandy told her this weekend it is gonna start at 7, that she had to be someone else after school. The bell rang and they went to the classes. Melinda had sent Jim a text about the sleepover, he told her okay that he has poker nights, with the guys on Friday nights anyways, Melinda tells him okay. They day went on like any other day, no one suspected a thing about anything. Melinda had went to hers and Jim's home and waited for him. He came home and asked if she was ready to see her dad. Melinda told him yeah that she was, and after they had to check the other camera. Jim told her he knows. They went to her dad's in Jim's truck. When they got there they went inside. Tom hugged her and told Amelia about Melinda's gift. To their surprise she accepted it just like Jim did. Making them all smile. Tom had brought Melinda in the kitchen and asked how she would, feel about Amelia being her stepmother. She tells him that she would love it. Tom and Melinda comes back in and Melinda nods. Making Jim and Amelia look confused about what was going on. Tom went in the bedroom and got something from his room. Came back out and hands Amelia a small ring box. Amelia looks at it and she opens it and is shocked. Tom gets on one knee, and asks her to marry him. Amelia tells him yes she will marry him. Melinda smiles when her dad puts the ring on her finger. Jim and Melinda congratulated them, they told them thanks. Jim told her don't forget before we turn in the night, we have to check that Camera, see what we got. Tom and Amelia asked them what was going on. So Melinda told them about what is going on with Mandy, and what she did the last sleep over, and what they are doing. Tom that is a good idea to do and smart. Good luck with everything. They tell them thank you, and if they want to celebrate their engagement they understand and can head out. Tom tells them thanks and it is getting late, we can all celebrate some other time together. I am sure that Melinda also has homework she has to do, before bed as well and she better still be doing it. Jim tells him I make sure she does, I have a printer and a wireless one so she print things off. Tom tells her that is good and thank you Jim for making sure that she, gets her homework done as well. Jim tells him that he is welcome, that he won't have any other way either. She has goals from before they got together, that he don't her want to give up those goals or dreams. She always has my help with anything that she needs. Melinda smiles and puts her head on his shoulder. They head home and once they get in the door. Melinda kisses Jim deeply, he kisses her deeply, and was about to take off her shirt but stopped. Told her we can't right now Mel, you have homework first, after we can make love, then check the camera. Melinda tells him okay, she does her homework and does her paper. Melinda tells him all done, that she did some earlier when she finished her work for him earlier. Jim checked everything over and told her good. They checked the camera and sure enough they were all right. Mandy was in there with the principal, she had her dress up in the air, and the top half of her dress pulled down. He had his shirt undone and his pants down and was pounding into her, like she was some kind of porn star, lip locked with her so that she couldn't scream, and when they did any other position he would cover her mouth so couldn't scream at all. Melinda called Delia and told her put her on speaker so that Charlie can hear, while she also called Andrea and told them, guess what we just seen on the camera guys. They asked them what did they find about what was going on with them. Melinda tells them that they are having sex in his office, they don't know when it was done, but they are. The girls said well now if she tries anything at all, we have the leverage that we need. Good work team we did good. Jim told them we sure did. We will keep the camera in there for a while, and see what happens. I will download the videos so that we have them. They all agreed that it sounded good. Melinda and Jim hanged up and made love before they went to bed. Jim asked her if she would be okay with him being a paramedic or fire fighter. Melinda told him whatever makes him happy. That she will support him no matter what. Like he does her. Jim smiles and held her close to him, they fell asleep holding each other, Melinda started to get a tide bit restless. She knew what that meant and what that was a sign of, she was gonna get a vision in her sleep, but it wasn't about what she thought it was. It was about her grandmother telling her about, how she would find someone that would accept her for her. She woke up and looked next to her. Jim was sound asleep, with his arm around her. It was the best feeling that she ever felt and she was more happier than she ever was. This one the one thing that she had always wanted. Someone that would let her do what she wanted, but also do what they wanted as well. That is what she found with Jim.
