The truth is like a bunch of fireworks scattering across the night sky.
You watch, heart pounding, as each burst explodes—a shower of color, dazzling and unpredictable.
Sometimes it's exactly what you expected, a shower of golden sparks raining down.
But other times, a rebellious rocket shrieks off course, leaving a trail of sparkling fire that fades into the inky blackness.
Some secrets are like those rockets.
You think you know where they'll land, the damage they might cause.
But they can veer off track, leaving you with a truth you never saw coming.
Hopefully, Renata's truth was one I could bear to look at.

♛Chapter Sixty-One: Mutual Agreements♛
Just as expected the cargo containers looked entirely different inside.
The black marble floors shined against the fluorescent lights and the black walls were tall and lined with ridges.
A small amount of people passed through what appeared to be the main area of the building, drawn to the line of elevators where everyone patiently awaited to get on—while others exited off and down one of the numerous hallways on this level.
Most of the people seemed to be fairly muscular and dressed down in darker colors—what they did here was beyond me.
"Aren't you supposed to be at an event for your own company?" a voice suddenly called out, which inevitably made me glance over to the woman with a head of dark hair and matching eyes.
She seemed out of breath—and judging by her athletic attire, she most likely came from some sort of workout.
"Aren't you supposed to be in the ring with Dev?" Renata countered back, her tone light and joking, which made me assume they must be friends.
The woman only laughed, "Fair point—but this new sequence that I'm teaching her is fucking brutal on my hands," she said, suddenly diverting her stare to me.
Which seemed to make me feel like a shy child—wanting to hide behind Renata's body.
"Zee, this is Fenix," Renata formally introduced us, "Fenix this is Azura."
Fenix inevitably flashed me a smile, "The same Azura that—"
"Yes," Renata purposely cut her short before she could finish her sentence, "Now you should bow."
I quickly shook my head before Fenix got the opportunity to, "There's no need for the formalities," I assured her.
Fenix raised a brow, "Oh you're like... really formal," she said, easily earning an amused smile from me, "I hear the French accent you were going on about Ren," she said, nudging the woman beside me who only jokingly pushed her away.
"French accent?" I repeated in clarification, looking over to Renata, "What does she mean?"
Renata only seemed to stare blankly at Fenix, giving her a narrowed look, "Nothing, Feni just likes to cause trouble," she said, which seemed to earn a laugh from the woman.
But before she could counter, another voice interjected, "She also likes to skip our practice matches."
I suddenly looked over to the woman with lighter hair—which seemed to be up in a voluminous ponytail, flowing down her back and illuminating her bare face.
