Crowns were all I knew.
Power, duty, a life carved in the cold stone of expectation.
The future stretched before me, a vast, empty canvas.
I knew I would be Queen and that's all I needed to know about my future.
The rest of it I took day by day.
But with Renata...
I imagined it all.
Waking up drenched in the morning sun and wrapped in her arms, how our breakfasts would be spent—what we would do with our free time.
The unthinkable became a vision that ignited a beautiful warmth in my chest—children.
Tiny fingers wrapped around mine, their eyes reflecting the same love that shone in Renata's.
I saw her fierce protectiveness, her unwavering tenderness, the way she would nurture a world within them, a world overflowing with the love this ruthless world desperately craved.
It wasn't just about that, though.
It was about us.
Building a life, brick by loving brick.
A safe haven from the storm of the chaotic world, a testament to the unwavering beauty of love.
The future, once an empty canvas, felt like a masterpiece of progress, each brushstroke a promise whispered between us.
This would be more than just a life shared together.
It would be a bond etched in eternity.
A vow we made to each other.
It would all be ours—and I have faith that we would build something special.

My jaw unconsciously grew tight with restraint, especially as her hands trailed lower and lower down the front of my body.
"I want to make it on time," I reminded her as I closed my lip gloss.
Renata only used her foot to guide my legs apart, "But being late is so much fun," she tried to convince me.
But I only shook my head, knowing how important this all was, especially since it was a surprise for the woman behind me.
It was our last day in Vegas.
We somehow managed to extend our trip by an extra day—and luckily all of our friends were able to as well.
