EP 21

It took over a week before Joong managed to get Prim. She had been out of town visiting relatives. It had been an excruciating time for him as he waited. He couldn't meet Dunk since First had been firm in his decision. He can only contact Dunk when he had cut things clean. Even Pond couldn't help since Phuwin agreed to this term wholeheartedly. Joong was nervous as he waited for Prim to arrive at the cafe. He wondered how he should say it. The moment she arrived, he slid her chair out and helping her to it like a gentleman he is. Prim could see the turmoil in his eyes. 

"Prim, I... I..." Joong stuttered as he thought of how to word his sentence. He truly didn't want to let her down, with how nice she had been. 

"P'Joong, I can guess what you are about to say. It's okay. I think we both know it wasn't meant to be since we first started. I think we should part ways too. Thank you for spending time with me." She finished her coffee and left. That's when he saw a guy glaring at him as he waited for Prim. He saw her holding her hands out to him and they left. 

He didn't feel bad after that. Apparently, she already had her sight on someone else. He felt the weight of the world lifted off his shoulders. Joong  could not wait a minute longer and rushed over to the Tangsakyuen clan house. He was surprised when First was the one who opened the door. He had taken slow wobbly steps as he tried to walk again after being weak for so long. Joong hover close by afraid that he would lose his footing. First huffed when he reached the sofa. 

"Dunk is out to settle some clan related stuff along with Phuwin." Joong nodded. The maid served him a cup of coffee, bowing before she left. 

"I'm guessing you have cut things clean with that omega now that you are here?" Joong was nodding his head so fast that he felt dizzy. 

"Dunk is my only brother, I may not have done my duties as an older brother previously but I do plan on catching up. Don't ever let me catch you hurting him or you will regret it." Joong shivered when First ended his speech. No one ever had such an effect on him until First and he wondered why. There was something to First, something more than meet the eyes. 

"Ter, here's your dessert." Joong was surprised when he heard Khaotung's voice. Khaotung was equally surprised to see Joong. He put the cake in First's hand and gave his to Joong. First gave him a bite of his without a care that Joong was there. 

"The two of you...." Joong asked as he pointed his finger to the both of them.

"We're together." Khaotung beamed as he told Joong like it was yesterday's news. Joong nodded as he tried to process it. He looked at First curiously. Up until now, he had no idea what is First's designation. Just like how everyone complained that Dunk didn't have a scent, First didn't either. He didn't get to contemplate further as he heard Pond, Phuwin and Dunk chatting when they came home. 

"Hia~ I'm home." Dunk went over to hug First. Dunk was surprised to see Joong. He wanted to go over to Joong but he eyed his brother. So, there was someone that Dunk was afraid of. 

"Go to him. No funky business until after a proper mating ceremony." First said without looking up. Dunk gave him a sniff kiss before hugging him in gratitude. It was then that Joong felt that Dunk reverted back to little kid in front of his brother. He smiled.

It was raining heavily by the time Joong wanted to go home. Phuwin and First's eyes met before they both begrudgingly allowed Joong to stay. Khaotung had went happily with First, while Joong had to sneak into Dunk's room when everyone went to bed.   

Joong had been missing Dunk fierce with how long he had been away from him. He reached out for a kiss but Dunk put a hand over his lips. 

"Hia said no funky business before mating ceremony. You better listen to him if you don't have a death wish." Joong couldn't help but laugh at Dunk's response. He was the clan alpha of the Aydin clan and a true alpha at that. What could Dunk's brother do? 

"Don't laugh, my hia might look harmless but he is deadly when he wants to. Did I mention he is an enigma?" Joong's eyes widen at that. No wonder he felt a shiver down his back when he gave the usual older brother warning. Though he can withstand the power of an enigma to a certain degree because of his true alpha status, he started to fear for his brother.

"Don't worry about P'Khaotung na. My brother is a gentleman. He won't force anything onto phi." Joong's eyes narrowed but Dunk truly believed what he said. He should know best since it's his brother. All Joong could do was sigh. Of all the people that his brother has to fall in love with, it had to be an enigma. But his brother was old enough to make his own choices. He didn't have a choice either way. It wasn't like Khaotung would actually listen to him when it comes to this matter. Joong focused back on Dunk. His sassy omega that somehow became cute now. 

"After all that you've done, you are holding back on me now?" Dunk chuckled as Joong sulked.  

"No kissing but I can hug you to sleep" Dunk proceeded to sleep on his chest with his arms around his waist. Joong huffed wondering how they had gotten all the sequence backward but all he could do was smile at his cute sassy omega. He couldn't help but stroke his head. The weight of his omega on him didn't feel heavy at all. It was strangely comforting. His breathing lulled him to sleep.

A/N: 🤭🤭 poor Joong😅😅but yet deserving🤣🤣I feel like m letting Joong go a lil easy with Win's appearance but I don't want it to be too draggy, so m going wtih this.😅😅 and I like to think Prim has more class🤣🤣
