Chapter 63

Niall's POV

I was walking out th kitchen wi a bowl of popcorn when a bunch of people walked right past me with a gourney... I was confused

"Excuse me" I asked one of them "who's that?"

"Louis" he answered

"Uh... Could I come with?" I blushed

"Sure" he nodded "but I'm not sure why you're blushing"

My blush deepened and I followed after Louis not bothering to tell anyone where I was. I heard them shouting upstairs so I figured they'd be busy and probably wouldn't notice my disappearance

I climbed into the back of the ambulance and sat close to Louis wondering what had happened to him... Was it after I'd gone downstairs? Or did I just not see him when I was talking to Liam? I didn't see Harry either so maybe they fought in another room

I sneezed into my elbow and as I half raised my head I saw something red on Louis's neck

I stood up and turned his head... A hickey? I checked the rest of his body and I saw a bruise on his shoulder. I pulled down his shirt slightly and found nail marks that had scratched down it

"Could you turn him over?" I asked the paramedic

He nodded and carefully turned Louis over

I lifted his shirt and the nail tracks were right down to the bottom of his spine... Was Louis seeing somebody? I stood back confused, who could Louis possibly seeing? Maybe that Eleanor girl? I highly doubt it since we all tried setting him up with her and he didn't even take the slightest interest in her

I ran my fingers down the marks, they were recent and I could feel the skin where the nails had bruised his back. I lifted the top more and saw little crescent moons in an arch on his should blades... Wait a second, those were nail marks. Louis really was seeing someone, I wonder who it is

The ambulance came to a stop and we all got out of the ambulance. The paramedics rushed Louis into hospital and I sat in the waiting room for a few hours

"Sir you can come see- Niall?" A familiar voice sounded

I looked up... Bethany

"Hi" I gave a small smile

"What are you doing here?" She asked curiously "where's everyone else?"

"I'm here for Louis and everyone is back home arguing" I said confidently

"Do you know what happened to Louis?" She sat next to me

"Nah" I shook my head "but so far from what I've seen on his back is he's seeing someone we don't know about"

"Pardon?" She asked

"He's got nail marks all down his back, little crescents on his shoulders and a hickey" I explained

"I'll go check on that" she stood up

"Can I still see him?" I asked

"Of course" she smiled "come with me"

I followed Bethany down the hall and she stopped just outside a room

"I'll be right back" she smiled warmly "he's just in there"

I nodded and she scurried down the hall into another room, I went in and Louis lay unconscious on the bed. I sat down on a chair watching him carefully... What was this boy up to when we weren't around? Where did he go when we sent him home yesterday? Where was he last night? I saw him sneak out his room last night, he went downstairs and then I didn't see him come up for a while. I even went downstairs to check but he was gone, this was all too weird
