School has ended but the other students from the other classes were blocking our exit.

"Bro, can y'all move? I have to go meet my dad!" I tried to say but no one moved. Rude. Uraraka came up from behind me.

"U-um, why the heck are you all here?" She asked

"Do you students have some sort of business with our class?" Iida asked.

"Why are you blocking our doorway? I won't let you hold us hostage!" Mineta chimed in.

"They're scouting out the competition, idiots. We're the class that survived a real villain attack." Bakugo said walking away.

"Let's just hope he doesn't explode anybody." Zuku said nervously.

"At least now you know what a future pro looks like. Now, move it, extras." Bakugo continued.

"You can't walk around calling people "extras" just because you don't know who they are!" Iida told him.

Then we heard a voice, a pretty hot voice, may I add.

"So this is Class 1-A. I heard you guys were impressive, but you just sound like an ass." A kid with purple hair said.

"Oh, don't worry. That's just Bakugo." I said, waving my hand in assurance.

"Shut up, idiot!" Bakugo yelled at me.

"Funny." The purple kid responded.

"I know." I replied, nonchalantly.

"So, is everyone in the hero course delusional, or just you?" He asked, referring to Bakugo.

Uraraka, Zuku, and Iida were now getting scared because Bakugo was getting mad. I was getting happy, I love it when he gets mad. It's so funny!

"How sad to come here and find a bunch of ego maniacs. I wanted to be in the hero course, but like many others here, I was forced to choose a different track. Such is life."

Bakugo made a "Tch" sound.

"I didn't cut it the first time around, but I have another chance. If any of us do well in the sports festival, the teachers can decide to transfer us to the hero course. And they'll have to transfer people out to make room."

"Take his spot, he's not needed." I said pointing to Mineta, but Zuku pulled my arm down.

"You can't say that, Mai!"

"Ugh!"

"Scouting the competition? Maybe some of my peers are, but I'm here to let you know that, if you don't bring your very best, I'll steal your spot right from under you. Consider this a declaration of war." He finally finished, but Bakugo and him were in the middle of glaring at each other.

"Hey! You! I'm from class 1-B next door to you! We heard you fought some villains, and I came to see if that was true. But you're just a bunch of brats who think you're better than us!" A guy said mainly to Bakugo l.
