The Avatar ~ Izuku Midoriya

It was time to go back to school, something I was ecstatic for. Dad was back at work and I could see my friends.

We sat down at our desks as we waited for our teacher. I don't think they know dad is still the teacher.

"Hey, Uraraka! How are you?" I said walking up to her.

"Oh! Mai! How I've missed you! I'm good." She ran up to hug me, I hugged her back.

"Aw, come on don't tell me you missed me?"

"Of course I did, you're my best friend!"

"I missed you too, Uraraka!"

We talked for a while then, Iida joined. Then I excused myself to talk to Todoroki.

"Hey, Toki! How are you?"

"I'm fine, Mai. How are you?"

"I could be better, but oh well. That's over now."

"I suppose. How is Mr. Aizawa."

"Oh, he's fine. But if a baby though. Complaining about his bandages and stuff like that."

We continued to talk before it was time for class to start. As I pass Midoriya I put my hand on his shoulder and give it a little squeeze.

"I knew you would be alright." Is all I said before walking away and sitting on my chair.

"Attention. Homeroom class is about to begin! Everyone, stop talking and take your seats!" Iida yelled, standing in front of the class.

"Uh, we're all sitting." Kirishima pointed out.

"Yeah, you're the only one standing." Sero said. Iida rushed back to his seat.

"Dang it!"  He said while shaking.

"Don't sweat it." Uraraka said trying to calm him down. It did not work.

"Hey, Mai?" Ashido said from across the class.

"Yeah?"I said back.

"So..who's going to teach class today?" She asked.

Before I could respond, the door opened revealing my dad.

"Him."

"Morning, class." Dad said.

"Mr. Aizawa. What are you doing here?" The students asked.

"Mr. Aizawa. I'm glad you're okay." Iida said.

"My well being is irrelevant. What's more important is that your fight isn't over yet."

"Our fight?" I heard Bakugo say.

"The UA Sports Festival is about to start."

"Yes!" Kirishima said.

"Ugh! Why would you scare us like that?" The class said.
