It was time for lunch and as I walked to where Iida, Uraraka and Midoriya were seated, I realized I haven't talked to Midoriya all day. I hope he doesn't get mad at me.
I decided that I'll sit with Todoroki considering he's always alone. I walked over to him.
"Is it okay if I sit here?" I ask
He looked up and nodded. I sat down across from him and started to eat. There was this calming aura coming from him. I decided to ask him some questions.
"So, you got him based on recommendations, I did too! Who recommended you?"
"I was recommended by my father."
"Oh yeah, Endeavor, right?" I asked, he looked at me a little shocked.
"How did you know?"
"Your name is literally Todoroki."
"Oh I guess it is. Don't tell anyone, please?"
"Your secret is safe with me!"
"What about you? who recommended you?"
"My dad and Midnight. They have been training me since I was five. Even some of my last teachers wrote me letters of recommendations."
"Right, your dad is Aizawa."
"Well he's not my biological dad, but he's still my dad."
He stayed quiet. I know he wanted to ask but didn't want to seem rude, so I just told him. It's not like I'm ashamed.
"I was adopted by dad at four years old and he started to train me at five."
"Oh, my father trained me at five years old too."
"Looks like we have something in common. Hey, do you want to be friends?"
"I didn't come here to make friends."
"Oh" I said a little sad.
"But not everything turns out the way I want it to."
I look up at him confused.
"Yes, we can be friends" he said before going back to eating.
"Yay! I'll be the best friend you ever had. Trust me!"
There is a small smile on his face before a bell ringing goes off.
"Warning. Leave three security breach. All students please evacuate the building in an orderly fashion."
People start yelling and running all over the place.
"What is a leave three breach?" Todoroki asked me.
"It means that someone got past the school's barriers. Come on, we should go."
We started to walk but people kept pushing us so I decided to grab Todoroki's hand so we wouldn't get lost.
