Mikha's Pov

"Mikhaela Lim, seriously," Gwen said.

"What?" I asked.

Si Jho, Colet, at Gwen bigla-bigla akong binisita dito sa bahay.

"She accepted your feelings. Palagi kayong nag-uusap, at sa condo mo na siya natutulog," Jho said.

"And you still haven't asked her if you can court her," Colet added.

"Well, I don't know how to ask her," I said.

The three of them stared at me. Sabay pa silang napabuntong-hininga.

"Bestfriend ka nga namin," Gwen said, shaking her head.

"Wait, may idea ako," Colet suddenly said.

"I'm open to suggestions," I replied.

"Remember, next week is our vacation in Baguio," Colet said.

"I remember," I nodded.

They were still staring at me.

"That's already next week?" I asked, surprised.

"Yes, and it's the perfect timing for you to ask her if you can court her," Jho said.

"Nagtataka kami kung bakit ang slow mo sa ganitong bagay, Mikhs," Gwen said.

"It's my first time, and I honestly don't know what to do," I admitted.

"Okay, it's time for us to help you," Colet said firmly.

"Just go with the flow, Mikhs. Kami'ng bahala," Jho assured me.

I nodded at them, and they smiled at me. This time, I really needed their help.

The next few days, I’d been busy planning how to ask Aiah while helping her with the big case. Nakakausap ko na rin si Denise since regular customer siya. Right now, I'm standing in front of the law firm.

"Hi, Mikha," Bryan said.

"Hello, Kuya Bryan. I brought snacks," I replied.

"What are you doing here? Thanks for the snacks. Come inside," Bryan said.

Kuya Bryan and I went inside the building.

"Kuya Bryan, I have something to tell you," I said.

Pumunta kami sa balcony.

"What is it, Mikha?" Bryan asked.

"Attorney Bryan Arceta, I wanna court your sister—Maraiah Queen Arceta," I said.

Seryoso akong tumingin kay Kuya Bryan, then I looked up at the clouds.

"I know this isn’t the right timing since Aiah has a big case, but I don’t wanna waste the chance to show her my effort... that I really like her," I continued.

I turned to look at him. He was seriously looking at me too.

"I know I’m a girl, but I won’t back down. My feelings for your sister are real," I said.

"Mikha, I’m not objecting to you wanting to court Aiah, but I’m not the only one you should be asking," Bryan replied.

"Huh?" I asked, confused.

"I’m talking about our parents. You know asking the parents is the first move," Bryan said.

"Well, about that, Kuya... I already booked a flight to Canada. I’m leaving tomorrow," I said.

"What? Really? That’s unexpected. Mikha Lim, you’re full of surprises," Bryan said with a slight chuckle.

"Kuya, would you mind distracting Aiah while I’m away? Para hindi siya makahalata," I asked.
