Aiah's Pov

"Ma'am, here are the additional documents for the new case," Jaz said.

"Thank you, Jaz," I replied.

Kuya Bryan entered my office.

"Aiah, don’t forget, we have dinner at Mikha’s restaurant," Bryan reminded.

"Yes, Kuya. I’ll just finish reading some of the new documents," I said.

"Mikha’s restaurant?" Jaz asked, curious.

"Jaz, do you know Mikha?" Bryan asked.

"Yes, sir. I met her in culinary school. She was our substitute teacher for a week," Jaz said.

"Teacher?" I asked, surprised.

"Yes, ma'am. Our whole class were slow learners. She wasn’t just a great chef—ang bait niya magturo," Jaz said.

I smiled, hearing those words from Jaz. Mikha really is a good person. Swerte ng taong mamahalin niya.

"Jaz, look—your ma’am is smiling," Bryan teased.

"Huh? Who's smiling?" I said quickly.

"You, ma’am," Jaz answered with a grin.

"Naalala ko lang gaano kasarap yung lunch natin kanina," I replied, brushing it off.

"Okay, Atty. Maraiah," Bryan said with a knowing smile.

His smile was weird, but I ignored it since I was focused on the documents. After a few hours of reading and analyzing, I was finally done. Kuya and I headed home—though we were in separate cars. Jho was already waiting, ready to go. I rested for a bit, then changed clothes and headed downstairs.

"Tara na." Jho said.

"Excited ka, Jho?" I asked.

"Oo, makikita ko ang sining ko." Jho said.

"Sining mo? Delulu ka na naman, Jho." I replied, laughing a bit.

"Magiging kami din ni Stacey." Jho insisted.

"Uso ang umamin at manligaw muna. Lagi mo kasi inaasar eh." I teased.

"Okay, tama na kayo magpinsan. Let’s go. Bryan’s waiting for us outside," Tita Cathy said.

In our family, okay lang sa kanila kung magkagusto kami sa girl. I’ve only been in two relationships—first was Jeremy, a guy I met in college. The second was Gelo, classmate ko nung high school, and naging kami after I graduated college. I’ve had some girl crushes, pero never to the point na gusto ko sila maging girlfriend. Only a few people know that I also like girls—Sheena, Maloi, and Stacey have known since we were kids. Alam din ni Jho, though I’m not sure if she told kila Colet... mukhang hindi pa.

After a few minutes, we arrived at Mikha’s restaurant. There were still a lot of customers. Stacey greeted us and escorted us to our table, then handed us the menu boards.

"Take your time choosing your order, I’ll be right back," Stacey said with a smile.

She went to the kitchen, leaving Jho pouting.

"What are you pouting for?" I asked.

"Hindi ako pinansin ni Stacey," Jho said, crossing her arms.

"Malamang, naka-working mode siya," I said, rolling my eyes playfully.

Stacey came back to take our orders and headed back to the kitchen.

"Ang ganda ng interior design," Tita Cathy commented, admiring the place.
