Mikha's Pov

I woke up early to make breakfast, then went to the bedroom to wake Aiah, who was still sleeping.

“Good morning, babi. Wake up,” I said softly.

“Five more minutes, please,” Aiah mumbled, eyes still closed.

“Our breakfast will get cold,” I said.

“Let’s just heat it up later,” Aiah replied.

She pulled me onto the bed—now she’s on top of me. Wait, she’s only wearing my t-shirt. Mikha Lim, don’t look down. Yes po, something happened to us last night.

“You’re blushing,” Aiah said, smirking.

“No, I’m not,” I said quickly.

“Really? Says the person who did something to me last night," Aiah said.

“Uhm, t-that’s...," I said.

“I love you,” Aiah said, cupping my cheek and smiling.

I smiled back.

“I love you too,” I said.

“I’m happy, babi,” Aiah said.

“I’m just shy... it was my first time," I said.

“Don’t be shy. I’m your girlfriend,” Aiah reassured me.

“I have a really beautiful girlfriend," I said.

“Of course. I’m the one and only Maraiah Queen Arceta,” Aiah said proudly.

She got up and went to the bathroom. I returned to the kitchen, humming as I prepped breakfast on the countertop.

“Fried rice, longganisa, sunny side up egg, and Spam. Oh, right—coffee,” I said to myself.

“Amoy pa lang, ang sarap na agad,” Aiah said, walking in.

“You always say that about every dish I make," I said.

“Except sa luto ng mom ko at mom mo—luto mo ang pinakaborito ko," Aiah said.

She always compliments even the smallest things. That feeling—ang sarap sa puso.

After breakfast, I drove her to the law firm before heading to Colet’s office. Trip kong dalhan sila ng coffee.

I knocked first, then opened the door. Inside, it wasn’t just Colet—I saw Maloi too. Colet was leaning against the cabinet, while Maloi stood in front of her. Some files had fallen to the floor.

“Good morning. Coffee?” I said.

“Vergara, paki-ayos ng mga files mo. Thanks sa coffee, Mikhs,” Maloi said.

She grabbed a coffee and walked out without even greeting me? Talagang kinuha lang tapos alis?

I looked at Colet, who was picking up the fallen files.

“Maria Nicolette Vergara, I smell something fishy,” I teased.

“Baka hindi ka naligo,” Colet said.

“Naligo ako, ‘no. Oh, o eto na yung coffee,” I said, placing the drinks down before sitting on the couch.

This was actually Colet and Jho’s shared office—yes, may sariling office ang dalawa. Colet sat beside me.

“Can I get some advice, Mikhs? Something’s bothering me,” Colet said.

“Sa wakas! Humihingi ng advice in person ang isang Nicolette Vergara. Akala ko video call nanaman ‘to,” I joked.
