Getting Ready

I sigh. Cinder had quite a temper. She just walked out the door, leaving an astonished Leo. His face quickly went to suprised to a little mad. He looked at Renzo, and pointed at the door. They both nodded and ran out the door, probobaly getting Cinder.

Lexi shakes her head as if she disaproved of something.

"Sooo... Avatar Korra really made that bending academy?" I ask Lexi.

She nods and smiles. "It was her dying wish to have a safe place for benders, since there are so few left."

"Oh." I say quietly."Did you know her personally?" I ask Lexi. She smiles but shakes her head.

"She was dead before I was even born. I'm only fifteen."

I hear someone clear their throat. We turn and see Luta standing there.

"So what exactly is this academy? What's so special, we can learn bending. Do we just learn bending? What do we do after the academy when we graduate?" She asks.

Lexi answeres, "The academy is for all benders. You will also learn math and grammar at the academy, or as most call it, BAHS (bending academy high school) you will train with masters of the element that you have in common, so for you, Sue, it's earth, and for Luta, it's water, then Cinder has fire." She pauses as if she is thinking, then laughs silently, "Cinder has fire, and even her name is connected with fire. How ironic." She says laughing a little more.

"Ok? Anyways, what about after graduation, like Luta said." I ask

"When you graduate you can go back to your normal life, or join BCJ." She says, "Bending Criminal Justice"She smiles a little when she finishes, and adds, "That's where I'm going when I graduate."

Me and Luta look at each other, then back at Lexi when we hear footsteps then the door opens with a bang.

I laugh a little when I see it. It's Leo and Renzo again, their now soaking wet, and Leo is holding Cinder on his shoulder with a gag in her mouth and her hands tied together with rope. We hear Lexi gasp, then she says;

"Did you guys really have to be so rough? Was a gag and rope necessary?"

Leo and Renzo look at each other then smile, Leo says, "Maybe not, but it was fun. She put up a little fight, so we had to use a sleeping injection." He puts her on the couch, and finishes "We really couldn't just have her leave. We need all the benders we can get. You know that Lexi." Lexi sighs and nods as if she agrees.

Renzo adds, " I know you don't like violence being a monk in training and all, but we need her." He looks at me and Luta adding,"We need you guys too so, let this be an example and please don't run away from us."

Luta seemed to be a little more than shocked, but said "Well at least don't put her wet body on the couch! Put her in the bathtub or something. On the floor. I don't care, but the couch wasn't cheap and I don't need it ruined."

I laughed a little not expecting her to say that. Leo picked her up again and flopped her on the floor.

"She'll be out for a good five or six hours, so we should pack up, Luta and Sue now to get going to the academy." Renzo said.

Ok. This was weird... I would go, but it was still super weird. Luta just went off up the stairs probably to her room. I sighed.

"Well I better get going to my house." I say, starting to leave, but Renzo gets in front of me.

"I'll be going with you, so you don't try to run away too."

"Fine, but I live in the palace. Let's get going." I say, and we leave.
