The Next Avatar: Training [Book1]

Defence Class

I went to find my dorm. Once I found it I used the key to get in.

My key was blue with circles on it.

Once I got in no one was in it. There were clothes everywhere but no other person.

I went into a room that looked like the bathroom. I put my stuff away first then I took a shower.

'I wondered what this academy would be like. What if it's just like regular school. UGG...school is so dumb!'

I let the water go on my back that felt so good, but once I was putting soap on me I heard the door open.

I rinsed of the soap and went out of the shower but I left it on so the person would still think I was in the shower.

'I got on my towel and looked out the door. OMG!! It was a boy! And he was looking through my dresser!'

I got some water from the shower making it big enough to cover his body and before he knew it he was frozen.

"WHO ARE YOU!?" I say really madly.

"Mmm...mmmmm."

"Oh yeah I froze your mouth."

I unfreeze his face.

"So again WHO ARE YOU!?"

"I'm a boy?"

I go to his face and it is a boy. A boy I don't know at all. I turn him around so I'm not squished next to the dresser.

"Why are you here?"

"I'm here because I wanted to show you around?"

"Well I don't need too. And why were you going throught my DRESSER?!"

"Because?"

"Tell me now or I tell the principle."

"Ok. I was trying to find your class list. When you first came in I really liked you, so I thought that if I got your class places I could be in some."

"Really? Do you think I'm dumb?"

"No. I think your cute." He says with a smile.

"I know why you came. Your such a freck. If I see you again I'm going to really kill you."

"Ok."

I unfroze him and I saw him out, then I went to bed.

I woke up to a bell and I guess it was the school bell.

I got my blue pants and yellow white shirt with a yellow smile face. Then I put on my blue hoodie like I always do.

My first class grammar, second, history about bending, third, math.

Non of my friends where in my class but I didn't know yet.

At lunch I saw Cinder, Sue, Renzo, and Lexi.

We all sat at the same table and talked.

"So how are you guys? Have you guys learn how to bend yet?" I say look at Sue and Cinder.

"Yeah. But its kinda hard." Says Sue.

"I like it really." Says Cinder happily.

"Nice. I haven't done any bending today yet." I say sadly.

"Maybe it will come after lunch." Says Renzo with a smile.

"I think so. The list I gave to Renzo to give to you should have.  Anyway have you made any new friends?" Says Lexi.

"No?"

The bell rang again and I went to my next class. Defense class.

'Heck yeah. Now I'll be able to do some bending!'

I got there and all of sat down as our teacher came in.

"Ok class. We will be outside today and we will be practicing your defense. But not literally hurt someone." Says the teacher.

We go outside and the teacher pairs us up. I was teamed with a boy named Oscar, and by his eyes I was thinking maybe he was a earth bender.

All of us went in different time. I saw some good moves too. There were only 4 elements. Fire, water, earth, and air.

It was my turn and Oscar's. I was todally ready. I wasn't going to show off till he started going hard on me. I will act like I have no idea what I'm doing then strike him then.

He starts out with little pebbles of rocks. I tried to look a little frightened with my shy face. He threw them at me then I looked away like I didn't know that the water was going to come. Then he started to get a little advanced. He got a big boulder and through it at me.

I don't even know that I wasn't using my hands till it happened. I got shocked faces. Then Oscar's face was getting mad. I think he figured I was going easy on him.

First thing he did was get three huge rocks from the ground and he threw them at me, then he made a plate form that he was on, and then jumped of and threw that at me too.

My face expression was like 'Dude this will be easy.'

I blocked all three of the big rocks with a wave and blew them towards him, but he blocked them barley with other big rocks. I didn't notice the plate form coming after me till he broke the huge rocks. I jumped and froze it and made a fist and the plat form broke into sharers, like if you broke a class cup.

I'm guessing he did his research on how far water benders can use water because he made a plat form under me and I went really high in the air. He made himself one too.

What he didn't know was that there was water in the air. But I don't think he knew that because he gave me a smirk of 'What are you going to do now?' And I gave him a smile.

I got a huge amount of water and froze his legs and hands with some of the water. Then I froze the whole plate, form high the bolder things, and mine. Everyone looked at me.

This time I had to really concentrate and make two fists.

The tall plat forms were falling and Oscar looked frightened. But I wasn't. As we fell I made the ice shaders into water again. I made two tornado and I caught us.

Oscar was stilled tied up and I was standing. Everyone gave me around of claps. Then I let him go and he stood up and gave me a smile and shook my hand.

I thought 'This place won't be so bad after all.'
