"I missed you so much, Yn." After two weeks of missing classes, you finally entered just to be engulfed in Jennie's warm embrace. "I was so worried. Yoi won't reply to my texts or calls. I even came to your house many times just to be told you aren't home. Is everything alright?" People do care about you. Why should you sulk for someone else?
"I know. I was in Busan. My grandmother passed away so..." You lied smoothly. Hope your grandmother won't mind dying for Jennie. "Oh my God. I am so sorry for your loss." She hugged you once again. Wish you could tell her the truth.
"You can't get demotivated for this, right? Things are already planned beforehand Yn-ie. You can't change the past and keep living in it. But you can cherish your future." She moved back, holding your hands in hers. "I bet your granny would be happy to see you smile and work hard, right?"
"Hmmm." She is right, Yn. You just can't keep thinking of the past. Future awaits you more.
"Now man up, hottie. I have a plan." You looked at her deep set of brows that held mischief. "You already missed 2 weeks of lectures, and I know you won't mind missing another day." Giving you smug grin, she grabbed your hands, dragging you out. You tried to hide your face and prayed to God you don't run into Jungkook.
"Ahhh. Look at the fresh air." She exclaimed as soon as you both reached the rooftop. "Wait a second. Is it look or feel? Is it smell?" You chuckled at her dumb way to make you smile. "That's lame."
"But you smiled!" She pointed out. You yourself didn't realize that. You were about to protest, but a scream broke through your ears.
You and Jennie exchanged looks before peeking down the railing to see what's happening. A student was getting bullied, much like in a very harsh way. "We need to help." Exclaimed Jennie as she ran out, and you followed.
The scene took place at the back of the campus, where the big bin was situated. Students don't usually come here because it stinks.
"What to do?" Jennie whispered in a small voice. "I will handle them. You look after her." And you had planned to make a stealth move, but Jennie being the dumb one stamped on a can. The bullies consisted of 3 males that stood and 2 females that held on the victim, and they definitely did not look of your age nor did they belong to your campus. Their appearance was very much like those street dancers.
"Oh. Look who we have here. Alexia? Are they your friends?" A man cooed, and you so wanted to beat his ass up. But you knew that you couldn't handle them. So you did your thing.
Grabbing the nearest hard and solid thing that you could reach in the bin, you threw it at the female holding the right hand of the girl. It turned out to be a wrench that surely made a cut on her head as she held it wailing. The victim was smart enough to bite the other females hand who held her left arm, and you signaled Jennie to go help her out to take down that female.
