I don't feel at ease leaving my too pure to be in this world fiancé with that.. woman. Her kind would be called witches back in the day, if that evil going on in her eyes isn't an indication then I don't know what is. She's too overdeveloped, she wants to hold the pants in the relationship and she and I would definitely clash if we met each other first. I'm guessing this is why Dominico abhorred her at first, but then again sometimes someone that challenges you can be intriguing.

I'm man enough to admit that she did intrigue me, not as much as she did to Salian of course.

Although when it comes to my fiancé, Siren is a walking bad influence, I don't want her around people like that at all. I don't want her feeling rebellious because at the end of the day, she only married me for the luxury I can provide and I, for keeping cops and crazy women from snooping around me. Basically for a good public image. Nothing of love.

But alas, I cannot always hold her hand, because here I am away from her but it is for important matters. Even if I still feel she isn't exactly an enemy to the Russians like Dominico claims her to be. For instance, why the fuck would she kill the leader of the Red Assassins and dismantle the whole operation?

Knowing she destroyed the Baranova and hit the Bratva where it hurts, I can guess that's why Dominico even married her because of his big plan. I just never expected it to be this big.

"So tell me, what is it like having a woman at your side?" He asks a question I least expected, but then this is Dominico, it's not always business with him.

"Better than being married to an assassin I presume." I take my seat opposite him.

This is another reason I chose this venue, not only do I hate people in my house for obvious reasons but it also has one of my offices that have been soundproofed.

"It's actually more fun than you think." I almost roll my eyes at this, obviously this all has a double meaning but I don't care to know about that.

"Speaking of fun, you have a lot of explaining to do regarding Baranova." I lean back in my chair, readying myself for this big explanation.

"Well, in summary. Sirena was going to be Baranova's successor but she got too impatient and left with a burning passion of hate towards him. Her original plan was to make him suffer but he made a big mistake." He shrugs as if he didn't just tell me that his wife is actually closer to the enemy than I thought.

"Mistake?" I question awaiting for a response. Seeing his reaction tells me its something that happened to both of them and now I'm in even more curious as what it could  be.

He goes quiet for a moment and lies back in his chair looking away. Whatever it is still bothers him. How personal did Baranov really get? His sister and mother are still alive so i'll assume its his wife that got the end of it? I'm guessing about something he could very well tell me now.

"Domenico." He closes his eyes with a sigh before he faces me again.

In his eyes I see nothing but pure hatred but not directed at me. At this rate it seems even in his grave Baranov is still holding something up in his face but he does nit exactly want to tell me. And the more he doesn't, the more worried I get.

"He took something of great value from both of us. " He says. And still I don't understand what he means because I know it isn't money. He doesn't fret like this when it comes to money. No, what exactly did he do? "Or rather, someone." He adds.

At first I was confused, I don't understand who could have been so important to him that they died. I assume it was on the day of the wedding when his wife was attacked but I don't understand who could it be. I intended to leave just after their vows but after the attack, I stayed to ensure everyone important was still alive and safe.
